    One thing that I forgot to mention is athletes need to start preparing their body for the cold now. Cold water immersions ASAP! Ice baths are great for cold prep, decreasing inflammation as well as mental toughness training. On top of that, plan on UNDER dressing for the weather every day. Skip the hoodie or the jacket. Get comfortable being uncomfortable!
