Congratulations on surviving the 24 hours. I have yet to do one myself. It's on my bucket list. It's all about transportation, and finding other's. I know that pit crews help if you have them, but as just for Solo runners, I don't know too much about that part.
Eat with what you train with. After a while it's very hard to swallow as you will get palate fatigue. You will also notice you would want to snack on things that you normally don't eat, sweets etc.
