I watched as your mind raced, but you were quickly done thinking. a warm summer breeze blew in like the last breath of a dying day, the sky glowing with deep red. we lay down and watch as stars slowly glow brighter and brighter. "What... does any of this mean?" you asked impatiently, "why is time going so damn fast?" "it's all a matter of perspective..." I said back, "time is moving quickly because you're noticing it... however, the same happens when you lose focus as well" you looked confused... "from our perspective, the stars revolve around us, the universe follows us when in reality, it's all aimless... everything in the universe follows a cosmic dance alone in the void, never to truly be admired by an audience." "how do you know this?" you asked "because I AM the Universe, or, at least I embody it, I am an observer as old as time itself, I watch the cosmos die and be reborn over and over again..." we sat there, in uncomfortable silence as the sky shifted to deep purple. then you looked at me. "But why? why make a universe if it's just going to die, and be reborn again?" I responded "why? why do anything? why have children when they're going to die? why make something when it could be destroyed?" starting to understand, you look down at the grass, soft and damp, "why are we alone again?" you finally ask. "because..." I start with a grin "it's difficult to be alone when there are so many people to talk to. the quiet silence of the earth can now be fully appreciated..." "and we all need to be alone sometimes..." The sky was now black, the only light was from the stars and fireflies dancing slowly amidst the sky… “Who is the universe for?” you said as you looked over at me “and why does it exist?” “The universe is for no one… it just kind of showed up…” “Hmm” “...” I stood up and reached my hand out to you... You take it and I help you up… we walk slowly down the hill and into the dense forest surrounding us. “Can you control reality?” “Yes,” I say back “I tend not to however, it disrupts the balance I’ve worked so hard to create…” “Can you give a demonstration?” you asked, sheepishly “Sure, why not” I chuckle. I waved my hands around to form a little glowing ball of light, new and unique. You watch in awe as it changes from green to yellow to red, then finally to yellowish-green. I throw the orb above the canopy, it explodes spreading its color and light onto the trees. Their canopies glowing from below, lighting up the ground. “Woah…” “I’ll try something a little bigger…”, I waved my hand high above my head, and a vast ring crosses the sky, beautiful and glamorous. I then grabbed onto seeming nothing and pulled my arms apart, casting the galaxy upon the stars. But then… it stopped… Pushing my hands downward, I reverted everything I had created to what it was before. “Why’d you stop? It was beautiful…” you said, surprised “To stay here with you, I need it to be quiet… there was just too much noise…” We left the forest, I could see you looked bored (understandably after what I showed you only hours before), the world just felt empty now. up ahead was a tall mountain, tall enough it could touch the sky and clouds, "I have something I need to show you" I said as I waved my hands for you to back up. I raised both hands together and push them downward violently. the mountain's top exploded, launching ash and dust into the air, lava now flowing down the side of the hill. "WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT!?" you exclaimed, I just stared at you, blankly... "follow," I said, flatly. "look at the fire, the ash, and the destruction" I started, "what do you notice about it all?" you looked confused "it's... destroying the forest?" "Yes," I said, "but that's not all, it fertilizes the earth and allows for more life to grow in the future..." "oh..." you say softly "...it seems like a problem, but really, it's a natural thing. it only becomes a problem because humans caused too many fires..." you looked back at me as I started to walk away, "do you have a grudge against us?" you asked confused. "..." "..." "not towards you..." I answered finally. "'not towards me?!'" you exclaimed, "what does that mean?" "not you specifically" I started... ashes from the fire fell slowly around us like snow on a winter's day, calm yet devastating. heaping into piles of dismay. "I gave humans everything they needed to survive, just like all my other creations... but I made you special, I gave you Intelligence and creativity..." I turned to you, with tears forming in my eyes. "...but you all took it for granted, you wasted this beautiful world I made..." I snapped my fingers, and the world changed again. the volcano repaired itself and the sky went back to blue, but the trees didn't come back. instead buildings, and houses, cars, and lamp posts. people also appeared, but they were frozen in time like someone hit the Pause button on a remote control... "you never took the time to realize what I gave you was exclusive to just you... but it's too late now..." I turned away again "too late for what?" you blurted out, "too late to fix it" I started again, "you changed the climate, cut down my trees, and polluted my oceans" "But you can fix it, can't you?" you asked, tilting your head slightly... I smiled, but it wasn't a happy smile but more of a chuckle. "it's not that simple..." "first off, I'd have to restart the universe..." "wait," you said, "restart the universe?!" "yes, removing the 'bad stuff' in this reality is too big to remove without no one noticing." "oh..." "second..." I started again "I would have to talk to we..." "who's 'we'?" Hello ibi! I am a very new subscriber. I appreciate your work. I need to say that I personally do not play piano, but I will have my grandma's piano fully restored by the end of May 2022. It is an upright grand piano, made in Germany in 1930s (138cm/54 inches tall). One "issue" is that this piano has 85 keys, unlike 88 which is the standard nowadays. My question is: Will I ever miss these last 3 keys? I have seen that in a fair number of your videos, you play on an 85 key upright. I would appreciate it if you (or anyone) could answer me this, even more if you could find me a well known piece that uses those high notes. Thank you!
