I've been listening to Ibi for a few years now, Especially during my dark episodes of depression. I can't even describe how much his pieces have done for me emotionally, spiritually, mentally...all the "llys" under the sun😂 I have no idea how I would've turned out without his music. Thank you Ibi❤
Ibi was the final push to make me pick up music for good, to make me decide that I was determined to learn music. Now I own a digital 88 weight. piano and learning to play it is one of my drives.
Wait. Piano…depression…OMORI!? There’s no way this is a coincidence… OMORI is a video game about a boy who is depressed, and what his life is like. You follow him on a long journey to help him recover and overcome the trauma. And his sister (who died in an accident involving him four years prior to the start of the game) played the piano, so it’s a big part of the game, and of the way he remembers her. It seems the piano is doing for you what it did to him: healing.
I like this one. My usual sundays i wake at 530 and gather my fishing gear. Try to get to the pond just before sunrise. Its usually chilly. Cold. Smell burning cedar or pinon wood from homes nearby. There it is. A clear quiet pond. Just the sound of ducks migrating south. My favorite part to see the New Mexico sunrise over the mountains. Redish bright orange with streaks of pink spread across the sky. I open up my thermos and make my first cup of Irish breakfast tea. I cast out my lines in hopes of a rainbow trout catch. I sit on a tree watching the sun rise. Sipping away. To me thats peace.
Chapter 10: Memories We finally left the cave behind and walked back towards the little hill we started on. The cool wind whistled in the leaves in harmonious chatter, the stars shone down and peeked through the canopy. We sat down, I went to the exact same spot as before, you sat somewhere else and came back to me when you noticed. The grass was wet and itchy, even for me, but we still just rested there, looking up at the stars. We, or rather, you didn’t speak. I didn’t mind; no questions I be asked: no answers to be given. A meteor shower began overhead when you finally asked “What should Earth look like?” I smirked, “We just sat down, do you want to see more?” “No... but I’m curious as you were ashamed of what humans had done... I just want to know what it was supposed to look like.” “That’s what I’ve done” I finally answered, “I went back and removed Humans from time to allow nature to grow the way it intended.” “I kept you to demonstrate what our world should look like...” The wind’s whispers blew past our ears as silky clouds chased them, the moon illuminated everything, even the tiredness of my face. “What should Earth look like with Humans? We’ve tried to fix the environment...” I looked around, somewhat shocked I never considered what a world WITH humanity should look like. “I do not know...” I finally admitted. “I’d have to consider every value and mistake previously made, figure out risks and variables... it would take a while to see...” “That’s okay” you said after thinking for a bit, “we’ve got all the time in the world.” I smiled at the thought and began work on fixing Humanity. I pulled out a rope from my hands, it was long and had various tags on every mark left on it. These were the events of everything that has ever happened in history. I worked, studied, and edited time, slowly but surely, you sat next to me and watched, your company was appreciated. The grass swayed as the sun rose and set and rose again, dew drops rolling from the leaves and branches. Clouds rolled and deformed while the moon slowly danced through the cerulean sky. You slept next to me in the nights and watched me in the days.
Sorry for my long hiatus, I was swamped with schoolwork and social stuff, but summer’s here and I wanted to come back on the next upload. Here I am. Thank you for reading and your patience, I’ll see if I can post the other 9 chapters in the comments.
Great video! Could you upload the sheet music for Magnificat to your page, please? I'm having a hard time transcribing it since I'm not so used to the use of disonant intervals like that, but It has become one of my favourite pieces, no matter the youtube views

Sounds a lot like C418. Not in a way that is unoriginal, you just have beautiful, slow, and complex piano with minimal layering.
