The reason she floats down from the floors/houses is because there are no visible stairs! Even in play barbie houses that kids play with it's the same! The feet are raised because that's how barbie dolls are!

I think this movie is going to sell a ton of Barbies. I don't think a straight up 'fun romp' without any depth would really work. The fact that this movie looks super twisted and subversive really appeals to me, and I have been collecting Barbie dolls since the 70s.
Now seeing the movie i dont think it is going to sell barbies at all, maybe to certain 20-50 women but clearly this movie wasn't even for kids who probs just wanted a fun Barbie movie and not a toxic feminist agenda movie.
