This video won't get anywhere near the views it deserves because it's not a list but this content is so damn needed in the whiskey universe on UA-cam. Seeing the passion, work, and people behind these things is so incredibly cool and important and there are very few people who can put out this type of content so cheers to you for doing it and doing it damn well!
I love this stuff. Interesting to what craft goes into making your favourite drink. I still remember this chemistry class I had way back in high school that sparked my interest for distillation. Our teacher brought in this bottle of cheap fortified wine and he told us: today we are going to take the alcohol out of this, and he distilled it to as pure as he could get with the small lab sized still.
100% - Such a great video, I need more of this!
I once had someone get angry with me because I told them bourbon can be made anywhere in the United States, not just Kentucky.
I love these types of videos y’all do about the process of making whiskey even if you’ve done multiple in the past I still love seeing the process and how there’s a little changes here and there from other distillers that y’all have shown on your channel that makes their whiskey distinct to them.
A little corner of the universe where things are okay.
wait this is looking too serious ....... 00:55 nevermind, this is the same rex...... >_< ahahaahaaha
Great episode. How dare you hit me in feels there at the end. Wasn’t ready for that.
I haven't had a sip of alcohol in 8 years. I'm here for the goofs, the good vibes, the laughs and a peek at the process!
Good on you, keep up the good work!
You guys have made something special with Crowded Barrel. Glad I found you guys and as a fellow Texan it brings a smile to my face seeing a local business like this thrive. Keep up the awesome work 🤙
Love the video and thank you for the heart felt thoughts at the end.
Absolutely fuckin love this episode. Maybe my favorite all time. The end hit the feels and exactly why I love this place.
Really enjoy these type of videos. The inside look of what goes on specifically with The Crowded Barrel is great. I particularly get a kick out of Rex's fascination with baby doll hands.....Hah!
This kind of "behind the scenes" is the best kind of content!
These kind of videos are amazing. I love the education mixed with antics. But that closing monologue says everything that needs to be said about this community.
I loved this episode. It was great to see the process and some of the people behind it that we don't normally see. I really enjoyed Rex's monologue at the end as well. Keep doing what you;'re doing and I hope to sample your wares one of these days. Cheers.
One of the few things that might inspire me to travel to the US again would be to visit Crowded Barrel.
"A little corner of the universe where things are ok." That's beautiful.
This video format is great, please consider making more of these :)
Awesome video on the behind the scenes of R&D! Immediately one of my favorite vids from Whiskey Tribe.
...and the Tik Tok cocktails.
Amen!
Best episode yet, Rex you made an informative technical and educative video…..WHAT!!!! All jokes aside great Channel crew, team, tribe, you guys are killing it.
This is what making Whiskey is all about. What microbrewed beer is to beer, this boutique whiskey is to Bourbon. Never stop guys. Let's drink boutique spirits.
It is my mission in life to make it out to Austin to see Crowded Barrel. You all have a passion that is absolutely breathtaking in my opinion. I love your videos, and it is obvious that the amount of work you put into the production quality of the content you share with us compliments the hard work you put into every avenue of your business. THAT is why we support you. Keep up the great work, everyone!
Please keep making this type of product, both the film work and the spirit itself, it’s on my bucket list to be in the crowded barrel, to see it happening at this scale is awesome. Liquid gold. Thank you 🍻
Rex's ending really tied together the meaning of the whole episode, heartfelt.
I really enjoyed this one as well. Since I am from Nova Scotia , I am probably one of the people who really won’t get a chance visit or sample your whisky. That being said, I really get a kick out of both the tribe and vault channels and appreciate the work everyone puts in. You’ve created something culturally special here. Well done!
God Bless Y'all. Thanks for the laughs these videos bring us.
I absolutely loved this episode!
to be honest, a video like this needs to be put up every now and then. just to break away from like a list video or a shenanigans video (even though this had a little bit of shenanigans in it) it's nice to see the projects and the process of the distillery and seeing what you guys are doing and seeing people we normally don't see. I really enjoy these videos because it brings the channel/ tribe back down to earth because anytime i watch you guys when friends/ people in the vicinity, it's usually the shenanigan videos where you do weird quirky, but also educational, experiments.and most of the people around me think i watch you guys just for whiskey recommendations or the shenanigans. and while it is both, i do enjoy videos like these to remind me why i enjoy whiskey with some good company. You hit it on the head with that statement "It is the experiences we have together around that bottle. Like minded people in good spirits" and it's helped me shaped the way i create experiences with not just people around me, but that random person at the bar now. This community has helped me shaped drinking alcohol in way that's more positive than negative. Cheers to you and the Tribe.
More peeks at the process would be great.
I was having trouble focusing on what was being said, because I was laughing at the tiny hands - always hilarious!
I loved seeing it passed through that single sieve - the whisky industry filters so aggressively, you can see how much colour (flavour compounds) are lost when you look at how stained the stacks of paper filters they use are. A very educational video, cheers!
I just straight up love these people and the community theyve made
Really nice video. Very, very interesting to see the processes you went through to get your whiskey. Thank you very much for sharing.
I think we all love these videos where we get to see the behind the scenes and some of the process!!
Damn dude, that finishing made me all misty eyed, would love to visit the home of this community, maybe in the coming years
I'm a cocktail person, and not even a whiskey person, but I have fallen in love with this channel. I love this type of content, as much as the tasting, and the shenanigans. Rex and Briana constantly crack me up, and Daniel makes me smile with his excitement and knowledge about whiskey. I watched Deb's farewell episode recently, and it made me want a big hug from Rex... I may have to leave the house, and go visit Texas for the first time.
Damn, that commentary at the end gave me chills. Nice 👍!!
I enjoy the "people drinking 5 types of whiskey" videos, but videos like this are the reason why I'm subscribed.
That video was just so nice. I don't care that it's 9:00am. I'm going to pour a neat glass of whiskey right now.
Happy Father's day.
I love you, Dad. Rest in power.
One of your best episodes! Love these process videos!
Love these type of videos!
It's always talked about by everyone how it's the story that gets you excited about something. What better story then the Whiskey Tribe my friends? From "Hey ya wanna..." to "Holy S&*T I have no time!". But you guys never forget the Family that is the Whiskey Tribe. I think this episode is wonderful reminder of friends, family, and Bastards. Even if many of us have never met, we share a passion., Whiskey. To that, I say "How do you drink Whiskey!?"
Love the video! Well done on the production and the distillery. Need to pour an Eleanor when I get home.
Such a fun episode. Then you had to go and sucker punch me right in the feels. Now I need to go find out who's chopping onions. 🤣
MORE LIKE THIS! I really love this type of content! Packed with good hands-on information, the humour is on point without distracting us from the content! Wow! Great work!

I absolutely love all the videos about the process. I'd really enjoy seeing a video of you all actually blending a batch for bottling.
This was so informative. I think I learned more watching this than I did on any distillery tour I’ve been on.

I'm hoping that some day I get to visit Austin and pop into the distillery. You guys have really helped by journey of enjoying whiskey, and getting me over the hump of being able to actually get tasting notes. I'd love to talk whiskey in person with the community glencairn in hand.
