    Thank you! I was struggling as in every other software the scissor icon does the trim feature. I'm shocked this is not more straightforward. Thank you for saving my sanity!

      Trim in lightburn is a little confusing until you get the hang of it. Glad I could help.

    Great!..now i just need an extra step by step.."baby steps on how to close the lines!..i cannnnot get anything to close 😂

      So if you were making my "toilet" from this video, after trimming both inside parts, the shapes are there, but they are still 2 separate shapes, and they are not closed paths. You can either drag one of the nodes off and back and it should snap to (and connect) to the node on the other shape in the same spot, connecting the line, or you could select both shapes and use "edit->auto join selected shapes (alt-j)". Let me know if this doesn't solve this for you.
