im making a gun and i reused a viewmodel, and now the firing is completely broken. instead of shooting in a small area like a circle in just shoot on random place.
@@bysantrow If you only want the gun to be visible just make the viewmodel arms transparent 👍. They are an essential part for the kit, you can‘t just ‚remove‘ them.
This gun kit is actually amazing, better than most iv’e seen. Literally everything you need for the gun’s functions are in the code, wether you want a charge up, minigun rev, or burst? Hell yeah

another pro tip: if u have moon animators easy weld just select humanoidrootpart and while holding ctrl, select handle then press join in place. then hold ctrl again and press handle, then select both arms and press join in place again. this will make it so while animating the arms will follow the gun so u dont have to manually animate it.

Can other people see the weapon for some reason with another system like this when i equip the weapon ofc i can only see the view model but others wont even see the weapon model.
@@FungusUnited You can easily adjust the size of the viewmodel and make a inspect animation then go to your main script, press strg+f (or cmd+f) and search for inspect. Hope it helps 👍
Did you set lockfirstperson in the ROBLOX studio setting? (I belive it was starterchsracter) You should be locked in and can‘t change it. If it‘s a script, it‘d probably the scripts fault. Try adding a different script or add a „wait(1)“ function to it. Basically what a wait function does is, it allows the script to have a second to fully load. Sometimes ROBLOX scripts don‘t fully load and that should prevent it. Hope it helps 👍
You can increase the time of the delay between shots. You know how you can make a fire animation, just make the bolt animation. That's basically it. Sorry for the late respons
Play the sound and the animation at the same time and if the sound is offset try and adjust the keyframe correctly (can take some time) but that's how you do it.

use RigEdit lite for welds just press the "create welds" button for things like the slide and magazine, instead of welding create joints (this will allow you to animate the slide for a firing animation and mag for reload) important thing to remember: individual gun parts will NOT be animatable if you WELD them, that is why we use joints (joint allows movement is a way i like to think of it)
If you want to have a scope from a sniper you only have to: -go to the settings -search for „sniper“ or „scope“ and set it to true. If you want a reddot, you have to get a reddot model (there should be a reddot decal already there, but if there isn‘t you can make one by: -Create a part and add a GUI -In the GUI add an image/decal -Insert your image ID -but the brightness of the GUI to about 2.5-4 Hope that helps

So you select the parts (just like in moon) and then click on a button that says „join“. I believe it‘s called join rigs or join joints. Nothing different from Moon Animator
If it's only the first shot, that should be normal actually. But if it''s regular, check if you have action4 (Roblox animator) for your animation or if you've put the animationID in the correct place.

@@Susukie If you can‘t animate it it‘s mostlikely that a part has the same name as a other part (would be a bug if it‘s a different reason). If you animated it and it‘s static. Check if you have action4 (Roblox Animator). Otherwise just restart studio. Many people have this bug and most time‘s it‘s Studios fault.
If i understand that right you only want the arms to be seen? That‘s simple. All you have to do is still have a Handle with all the necessary things and that‘s it. No gun parts needed. If you don‘t want the arms to shoot, you can either place these green thingys into the void where noone hears or sees them, or got into the main script and dissable everything related to shooting (example: gunfire: nil, although i‘m not 100% sure if that‘ll work xD) I think you can delete them, but i‘m not sure. Hope it helps 👍 In short: everything is the same except there are no gun parts. For no shooting, try and disable everything relevant to shooting.
@@hackstylemc not exactly what i mean is when i use the gun it uses a type of arms called "viewmodels" they are the long arms you see in first person, is there a way for me to disable them? as in like im holding a normal roblox tool without viewmodels
@questionmarkdude4910 You can stretch them to 2x1x1 i think it is (the original roblox arms) you don‘t have to delete them and then only adjust the position and you‘re done. There isn‘t a way to use the „original“ arms, only to have a replica. Hope that helps 👍

@@questionmarkdude4910 Yea... the only gun kit that uses the original arms is ACS. But it's very hard to change weapons. I mean if you are using a non-block avatar you could force the other players to have these exact arms and then change the viewmodel arms to the mesh arms (must have the same name as the arms).
Doesn't matter if you use roblox animator or not. It's all the same. Just make sure the animation priority is set to "action4". Btw you speak english very well :-)
@@hackstylemc Thank you, I already know that. My problem is, when I enter the animation editor, I click on the viewmodel and it tells me "rig errors detected this rig contains multiple parts which share the same name. please give unique names to all parts." so I can't access animation priority
@@berkesarcan You have to check if the model has parts, which have the same name. For example one part is called „1“ and another part is called „1“. Change one of these parts to „2“ for example. If you already have unique names, restard studio. It‘s a common bug. Hope that helps 👍

UA-cam shows that i already answered you but for me it looks like i didn‘t so i‘m going to tell you it again. You can use any viewmodel you‘d like! Even those hyper realistic ones. Just be careful you are not using any fake viewmodel or those that only have arms. But you can also insert the parts from the old viewmodel into the new one (aimpoints, fake camera, etc.)
You mean from the toolbox? If you mean the gun in the viewmodel. You can alt-click on any part. Sadly the gun isn't modelled inside the viewmodel so you can only model it after selecting every single part of it.

if y'all want the auto fire mode to be default follow these steps: Step 1:change the burst rate of the gun to 0.06,0.06 Step 2:change the both fire text to AUTO Thats it!!

You know how to make the guns in 3rd person. When you use it on 3rd person the your torso moves with the gun
I have no idea about 3rd person. Your torso probably moves because the gun is maybe attached to it or you accidentally animated it.

Play the sound and the animation at the same time and if the sound is offset try and adjust the keyframe correctly (can take some time) but that's how you do it.

Errors happen mainly because of the player or sometimes roblox, even i sometimes make error. try and do everything again if literally nothing works.

What you mean is called „motion blur“. I don‘t think that it was in the Tutorial included. You can find it in the toolbox.

if y'all want the auto fire mode to be default follow these steps:
Step 1:change the burst rate of the gun to 0.06,0.06
Step 2:change the both fire text to AUTO
