Arty! Don't be afraid of those trading ranges/consolidations! As we know, big money is what really moves the market... Why do you think big money keeps price in a trading range most the time? Answer: because it's predictable, price is moving around 2 major price points. Short the highs, as price moves back between these areas, SL above the high,take half profit off at 50% and move SL to BE, and close just before the complete opposite end. and bounce it back and forth for scalps. Linear regression or vwap tools can help. Just throwing it out there

Love your content and the way you deliver it but I have a question. The emotional aspect of trading with your own money is sometimes a rollercoaster that can lead to loss. I can trade my system in demo and turn good gains. I have blown 2 Prop firm challenges !! But the slippage and strange anomalies not to mention the crazy margins lead me to believe that all these Prop Firms are SCAMS ! Is there a genuine prop firm out there.
That's gonna be a game changer prop firm. Just bought myself a 200k account. I'm not 100% profitable trader yet, but when i will be with demo, i'll be ready. Love the unlimited days to pass the challenge. Gonna be one of the best prop firms out there.

I am a muslim and my belief is that I can't trade until owning an asset/scrip. Shunning this prop firm idea was mainly due to it as I think the money isn't for real and no buying in actual is taking place. Long are the only positions I take as in short we don't actually own.

I thought capital gains tax was taxed differently. Like forex for example has the 60/40 tax.
So 60% is taxed as long-term gains at 15% and the remaining 40% is taxed as regular income.
So there's no way to lower that tax ?
If not I guess I'm just going to have to be moving to a non capital gains state.
States like Florida and Texas don't have a state income tax or capital gains tax. There's a few other states as well.
