- The most common problem with any day trader is having the proper trading psychology. Trading psychology, meaning that a day trader can stay in control of their mind and not trade emotionally. In this video I’m going to give you five rules you must follow in order to maintain a healthy trading psychology.

Patience is the name of the game when you are trading! Fun fact, controlling emotion in trading actually helped me to control my emotions in real life as well!!
When you win a trade, you feel like the king of the world. When you lose a trade, it feels like the world hates you.
Its so easy to watch videos and never actually try anything. Thanks for getting me started and putting it into easy steps. As ALWAYS, you made something totally overwhelming, very easy and simple.
One of the issues I ran in this week! Started getting better and up in profits on 5 trades, being all excited and not taking profits before going to sleep only to wake up being stopped out on all of them. Lol need to practice not being greedy! I’m 1 month into being new at this, good thing i’m still sticking to paper trading with my trading journal just like you suggested) thanks Arty!

Great content! Been watching previous videos so far, and studying day trading and markets since January this year.. have spend the first 3-5 months (until May really) just studying trading psychology, because from my analysis (not just of the market, but from any human endaevour), I realized emotions must be the number one reason people fail; and not a lack of knowledge, intelligence or skills in discernment and strategy (first and foremost).
Keep up and I`ll be integrating and testing all your advices, hints and tips and already thankful for the insights and start/get-go`s of your brought-together-knowledge!

Rule 1: always justify your trade, build up a case like a lawyer, find evidence by looking at what the market is showing you, not what you want to see.
Rule 2:A strategy without a stoploss is not a strategy.
Advice: The best strategy is risk management.

Ohh you give me a great idea for Rule N°4. Having 3 instrumets for plan A, 3 for plan B and 3 for plan C. If plan A it´s ok, you go for them, without looking the rest, if not because there to flat or so, you go for the B, and so on

two i things I'd like to add to over trading.
1. Don't trade on tilt. you should only be trading when the trade or settup meets your criteria.
2. Defining a daily loss limit to prevent yourself from going tilt.

I did that in my 2nd phase of a prop firm. I saw that it was going up and thought it was going to continue. I wasn’t following my “strategy” and acted on impulse. Now trying again but following formula 100%

All I want to say is WHY I DID NOT WATCH THIS VIDEO BEFORE!!?? I have been against all those rules you mentioned and lost a lot of money and making revenge trades and losing more money. But I think I should calm down, study first, learn, practice and than trades with strategies and rules. By the way very nice content, I can’t believe you are giving this info for free. Thank you very much, I hope you will have a happy life.
One rule that I don't break is; to break the rules I already established. There are moments I see an opportunity and want to go for it with more lots, or without checking in other periods just because I saw an opportunity. Most of the time is a trap.
