Are these tricks for bearing only? I couldn't get the fizz so i went on Amazon and got the magicyoyo k1
Idk if you figured it out yet or not, but it’d be more than just a bearing that’d determine if you could pull it off.
There are responsive and unresponsive yoyos, both with and without bearings.
A bearing just means it has a mechanism to help the yoyo spin more smoothly and quickly.
It’d be more about the setup of your axle, and not the bearings.
But, if you’re skilled enough, you probably could pull these off with fixed axel yoyo made of wood.
I think the easiest way to try these tricks would be with a transaxle yoyo, with or without bearings.
A brain yoyo would come back before you’d be ready for it to, and it could ruin your trick.
A transaxle yoyo is set up similar to a brain yoyo, but without the autoreturning clutch mechanism, so you control when it returns %100.
Anything like a yomega fireball would be a great choice to try these tricks with, just make sure you’re doing your best sleepers.
If the K1 can sleep using the stock bearing, i say give it try.
I have the K2, and the stock bearing feels super snappy, to the point I couldn’t make it sleep no matter how i threw the yoyo.
I changed the bearing to the unresponsive one and use that yoyo for string tricks (or atleast my bad attempts at them lol)
If i was gonna try this trick myself, I’d do it with the yomega spectrum i own, since its a transaxle without bearings and only spins so fast,
And as you hear in the video, he recommends trying it with a slower spinning yoyo….. a transaxle would be great for it.
Makes a good sleeper, but not too fast, with a decent responsiveness thats not tooo snappy, but just right.

I just got my atlas in the mail yesterday and once i put on a new unused string i played with for like 5 minutes all of a sudden it just rips off the yoyo the first string I put on was a cotton yoyo string so then I put on a polyester string and the same thing happened what type of string do you guys recommend?
