- I couldn’t find decent remake of this legendary music theme, so I decided to make it myself. Thanks to Alex Brandon and Warren Spector for making my childhood a magic time.

i literally could never finish FNV without hearing that phrase i even tested once and to finish a main level there is one ncr trooper that only says 2 phrases that you cant avoid "Patrolling the Mojave almost makes you wish for a nuclear winter" and "I was hoping there would be more gambling on this assignment"

Always happy to hear the original Deus Ex theme. The sleepless nights caused by the game's atmosphere and the onslaught of conspiracy theories are coming back to me now.
I'm also thinking back to the actors who did voices for the Deus Ex series. Not often do we have anime voice actors and even a former Power Rangers villain in one video game franchise. People are free to tell me if there are more.

Not just one of the best games ever made but holds a candle to games like Half Life and Halo because of the subject matter, which proves even more relevant now than before!
Why contain it?
to be honest I personally put this game on the same level as those two.
The story, the writing and the music is enough.
Deus Ex and DMC 3 are IMO as close to perfection as video games have ever come

They would not be able to remake it to be as it was. It would become a shitshow i guarantee it, really sad how RPG games in general degraded significantly in comparison to the early 1990s and 2000s. What a shame, they were great games, what a rotten way to die.

@@JohnMcSayer Maybe you're right but from experience a lot of sequels and remakes for titles that were godlike got ruined.
If it were to be like exactly the same with maybe more weapons, way better graphical fidelity maybe even better voice acting for non important npc's i am ALL for that, I just doubt something like this will happen though.
I mean take a look at invisible war it is as if they forgot what made Deus Ex good lol.

I love how this song has so many movements, all of which are total bangers in their own right
this theme made me install Deus Ex for the first time.
What a nostalgia. I remember playin the first mission was surreal. I kept zooming in on the statue of liberty with the binoculars every now and then. Graphics, gameplay and storyline that were ahead of its time. "JC Denton" cant forget that name.

I think this is my favourite remix of the Deus Ex theme, combining classical and electronic for the complete encapsulation of old and new, which suits such a far-reaching game.
The theme starts out as a militaristic March, before transitioning to a piece inspiring hope and courage. THE THEME FORESHADOWS THE GAME PROOF THIS IS ONE OF THE GREATEST THEMES EVER. GOODNIGHT

Has anyone tried remaking the theme of the original Deus Ex in the style of the newer games' music? I always missed that iconic motif in the two Jensen games, so seeing that brought to life would be badass.

The first game where, when faced by something I didn't like happening, I was able to change the outcome. I didn't want Paul to die, so I fought to keep him alive and succeeded. Thought I'd broken the game doing so, but it turned out that was a freedom the developers wanted me to have. Great moment.

@@comicsans1689 Mankind Divided got a bit better as a Deus ex game, and I own and played all of them. It depends if they will ever make another one and if they decide to go balls deep with their franchise or cower in fear in face of the current political climate regarding "conspiracy". It's not "there will never be", but "there might be".

the power and strength of the remix comes very subtle, its not exactly like the original but fits even better. Because JC's superior power is subtle but is without question there.

Deus Ex randomizer, some mad genius out there needs to make this happen...
There is already randomizers for System Shock 2 even though they are not fully finished yet...
Someone was able to "patch" Ray Tracing lighting into older games such as Doom, Serious Sam and Unreal Tournament, so I have hope that in the near future we will be able to experience Deus Ex with Ray Tracing Real Time Lighting effects... and it's going to be fucking amazing 🙏
