As a band they started at a very young age, starting from germany, they have also become famous in the rest of europe. Then they began to reproduce the songs also in english and they became very famous throughout Europe and also in many countries of the world. at that time they were more towards alternative, emo, pop rock and punk rock. over time they have moved more to a pop genre, with electric sounds too.
u should check out them playing this at the EMA in 2007. such an unreal performance. u can totally see their talent and their energy oozing off of them

their album 'Schrei' was a huge part of my childhood and i only recently found out about the english version of monsoon, but i have to say i feel like the english version is a little turned down in contrast to the german one. it feels quieter and a lot smoother than it should be imo

TMZ reports they tied the knot in February, just two months after Kaulitz proposed to Klum on Dec. 24, 2018.” Bit of a surprise I guess, no heard this band before looks like I might be investigating further! Don’t forget that for Mexico there’s The Warning, their MTV VMA live performance has caused ripples that are travelling quit a way!

@@AndyCrimson i think it was their most popular song because they originally had made this song in german when they were like 15/16 (2005) which was their first ever song with a label. it did really good and was no.1 on multiple charts so naturally they were everywhere to buses/posters literally everywhere and their songs being sold in mcdonald toys and many more. it also introduced them to multiple new fans who were mostly english speaking so they decided to learn and make songs in english to interact with their non-german fans which did really well for them in the long run considering how much of a hit this was in europe and how many new fans they gathered from this song alone. but yeah i do agree, i do wish this song had a little more energy but giving them the benefit of the doubt they were still learning english at the time this came out but it's still an amazing song from the actual scenery to the emotion of his voice. but definitely check out durch den monsun, it has a way different style/atmosphere compared to this version
