Good to see you back, Brian - creativity and lotsa work aren’t the best of buds, that’s for sure! Looking forward to your trip videos, and living in hope for a European tour next year if your work will let you. Keep well, mate!
Thank you, and I agree. Work and creativity definitely gone get along very well that’s for sure.😂. I home to be able to go on a European tour next year. It all depends…
I was waiting patiently for this! Hope you find more time to do the things you enjoy Brian. Take care and be safe out there on the road! (You carry way too much stuff my guy)
Thanks, I'm a London UK Brompton owner & never heard of Narrow-Wide so I've had a good look at what's online about it, cost, the fold and all that Brian. Welcome back 🤓
Great to see you back! And super stoked about this video. I got impatient last year and ended up buying the Zizzo Via while I was waiting for the Forte 2023 to come out. I don't regret the purchase at all, but I've had it on my mind that the Forte 2023 was going to be on my shopping list this year. This video pretty much solidified that it will be my next bike. Thank you for also mentioning the rear rack--I was thinking that would be something I'd have to replace in response of the heel strike concern. It's good to know which I should keep my eye on. Thanks again for the video! Really glad to see you love the bike!
Thanks for watching. Yes the rack issue was a problem.. don’t get me wrong the original rack was fine, I just was unable to slide my foot back on the pedals without strike. I will be upgrading the seat next as the one it comes with is too wide for me…. All in all the forte is a good bike- one of my favorites.
Glad I stumbled across your channel, thought I was the only one that liked the smaller wheelbase folding bikes. Plus you have a great intro and outro theme song. I have been looking at getting another 20 in wheel bike. The zizzo liberte looked promising but the silver / gray colorway is not exactly motivating . . . they should have more options. I really like the Brompton Chpt 3, but the cost is prohibitive. Looking forward to seeing your documentary once it has been completed. And more montages of you outpacing the full size bike riders 😆 Continue to go @aboveandbeyond
Great bike. I bought one over a year ago, and I often ride it on the weekends. I had knob for the folding mechanism snap off and took it into Zizzo's HQ for repair. They know all about this channel and they really like the videos.
I’d prefer the 2023 forte for a commuter. I ride one everyday.. it’s the extra cargo weight it can carry which makes it more robust for commuting. My opinion anyway😁
I love all the features on your bike that you've made... i.e. t-bag, panniers, racks etc. Would you be able to provide links or names of what they are? Thank you in advance. :)
Hey Brian, love your vids and your consistent honesty. I've been riding a Liberte for almost 2 years and love it especially for the price. It's my only bike. I also made some minor modifications. I changed my chainring from the original 48T to 52T and finally to 60T to get more speed. The 8 speed cassette also got changed to 11-30T. While I have to deal with some hilly terrain, I never use gear 1 and hardly use gear 2 so the rear cassette has worked for me so far. I love the speed I get with the 60T.
Hooray! Another video! I was worried that you were depressed again. But you were just busy. Oh! Brian brushing his teeth! What a special treat! Okay, that was a wonderful video. Now I can go wash the dishes with a smile on my face.
Thanks for the info. If you only wanted a folder for occasional use (not commuting) like lunchtime rides, vacation rides, after work spins - would you go Urbano or Liberte? (FWIW, I like all bikes, but I’m a road cyclist first and enjoy fast rides)
Hi Brian, Thank you so much for your excellent videos, it was great to find your channel, which I've recommended to many friends. Sincerely appreciate your advice - for urban commuting use for rides between public transit (trains and subway) and home and other destinations, for a 20 in. wheel bike, would you recommend the Zizzo Forte or Liberte? My partner and I would be carrying our bikes up and down some subway stairs, which isn't a big deal for us. And what if any components would you change on the model you recommend? It looks like the Forte will provide a better ride but at the expense of a little more weight. Also, is there a Tern model you'd recommend?
Nice to see you again Brian! Been waiting for this video since your posted your trip on Instagram. Hey Brian, where did you get that blue rear bike light you got on your pannier rack?
Perfect timing! I just bought one of these. I've only had a chance to ride it once so far, but really liked it. I might try a narrower seat on it next ride, but no other modifications yet.
Am I able to put larger tires (diameter) on the Zizzo. Will ot fit with the space in-between the frame? I love the Zizzo, but would just want a bit less rolling resistance when cycling longer distances. I am thinking about putting a 24 inch tire on it
I am so sorry, bri. l can't wait over two months for your next video it's like holding your breath under water, so it hurts, but I am having to pull the plug, take care 😢.
I currently have an lectric 3.0. And I like the bike. But it's heavy.#65. And after watching your program on Zizzo I think you talked me into a urbano.
Hey Brian, would really like to know exactly which narrow wide chain ring you ordered. I just ordered myself a ZiZZo 2023 Forte and want to do everything I can to prevent issues with it. Already planning to order some Schwalbe marathon tires like you suggested. Might also get some kool-stop brake pads. Just need to know which narrow wide chain ring you ordered. Thanks for the videos, love your content.
Great to see you back in action Brian. Perhaps you might doing a video riding the Forte with either the Burley or Radical Design trailers. Have fun and stay safe.
Do I did not add spacers…. There seemed to be enough space to allow the chain to ride on lower gear. Technically you should add links to ensure proper shifting but I just used the chain the way it was and had no issues. The gear I installed was a fifty six tooth…..so not terribly big.
I think I accidentally sent you the link for the 130. Here is the right link. www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0BBG2NT8M/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&th=1&psc=1
Thumbs up for EXCEPT that you need a bigger 56+ toothed narrow/wide chain ring, otherwise you'll have the chain drop from your bike...and that sounds a bit scary to me. I wonder why Zizzo doesn't put a bigger chain ring to prevent that?
Hey Brian void to see you back. Was worried you quit the vlogs. 2 things, what is the blue light at rear. And if you want fench pronunciation is yays. As in pan yays.
We will see🤷♂️. Beans had to be re-homed. I got talked into taking her from a friend that had a cat that had a litter of kittens. She said cats can be left alone for long periods of time with no issues. That unfortunately was not the case with beans. She very much did not like being left alone and seeing how I’m gone 12-15 hours a day, she was going crazy and having severe fits. For her well being I found her another home that would give her the attention she so desperately needed. I may address this in a video.
Hi Brian, I've been watching your videos about the Zizzos. I'm particularly interested in the Forte 2023 (I'm 6ft tall and weigh around 245lb (which is just above the maximum weight of the other bikes). I own a Brompton C-line Explore (6 gears). How does the drivetrain that comes with the Zizzo Forte 2023 compares with the Brompton in terms of maximum speed and climbing slopes.
For climbing the original 48 tooth gear is great, for top end speed….not so much. The Brompton 6 speed is better for top end out of the Box. I’ve modified my brompton to go even faster with my current gearing.
I have long legs so I need the extended post to pedal comfortably at 6 foot 1. Just make sure you don’t hyper extend the seat. I found out the hard way.😬
It's your channel, so do as you like, but if you made these videos shorter, say 5 mins vs 20 mins you cold probably put out more relevant content more frequently. I know you've been very busy and things have been difficult, but it pretty much every video you always apologize for not posting videos very often and wanting to do more videos.
If needing a folder, ½ a bike - You would be better off with a Montague full size folding bike with a full MTB gearing, instead of the small wheels. I own a Top 2019 SuperlightM6LXBrompton, for now modified down to 8,5 kilo, still with mudguards and hope to reach 8 kilo with a little more work, carbon and titanium? But as a bike it is horrible and only its fold makes it special and worth to buy. Finn. Denmark
Great to see you again Brian and know that you are doing okay. Looking forward to seeing more in the future. Stay safe.
Thank you, I appreciate that. I’ll try to stay safe….I’m making not promises😬
Brian! I was JUST thinking about you buddy (while watching a BFT video)! Glad you are back and well :)
Thank you my friend. I appreciate the thought😁👍
Nice to see you again! Can’t wait to watch

What do you think of the E-Bike kit that Zizzo just rolled out? Also, they will have an E-Bike version soon already assembled.
I was waiting patiently for this! Hope you find more time to do the things you enjoy Brian. Take care and be safe out there on the road! (You carry way too much stuff my guy)
I know 😂. I do carry too much. Thanks for watching.
Cool, thx. Really looking forward to your bicycle trip videos. 👍
Thank you, I appreciate that.👍
I'm glad to see your OK. My coworker bought a Forte and has never used it. I'm going to offer him $200 for it and we'll see.
Thanks, I'm a London UK Brompton owner & never heard of Narrow-Wide so I've had a good look at what's online about it, cost, the fold and all that Brian. Welcome back 🤓

Didn't know about Zizzo Brand until i watched most of your videos.
Thanks for watching😁
Great bike. I bought one over a year ago, and I often ride it on the weekends. I had knob for the folding mechanism snap off and took it into Zizzo's HQ for repair. They know all about this channel and they really like the videos.
I'm glad you have discovered narrow/wide chainrings. They make all the difference.
I have a Forte 2023. Can you explain what a chain drop is and how a narrow/wide chain solves it?
Brian which do you prefer liberte or 2023 forte?I'm going to order one and can't decide on which would be better for commuter. Thanks
I’d prefer the 2023 forte for a commuter. I ride one everyday.. it’s the extra cargo weight it can carry which makes it more robust for commuting. My opinion anyway😁
@ibikeunfolded Thank you, it should be here Wednesday. I'm sure it will climb hills better than my 3 speed dahon.

How about the tires, did you change 'em?
@@some_developer Only when the rear wore out and replaced it with a Schwalbe - Marathon HS 420 Touring Bike Tire, same size.
The return of Brian! Welcome back to the tube!
Hey, you're back!👍👍
Glad to see you back and doing well.

which axiom rack do you have? / Great vid / new to your channel

Good to see you back. Been wondering if you and Beans are still together...
Great to see you back in action Brian. Perhaps you might doing a video riding the Forte with either the Burley or Radical Design trailers. Have fun and stay safe.
Do you prefer the Zizzo Forte over the Brompton?
Long time no see, worth the wait though. Love the colour of that Forte.
Do you still use the Burley trailer? Wouldn’t that be more useful?
Yes I do but only for certain things. I will do a follow up very soon.
Nice of you to invite us into your house
Brian! Did you have to add spacers between the two chainrings and did you have to expand the chain length any?

@@ibikeunfolded Thank you for replying back and your answer was very helpful.
Hello can you help
Which is better zizzo campo or forte
I would definitely say the forte is better…
Great to see you back Brian and as usual a good vid.
How do you fit the brompton bag to your Zizzo ?
The zizzo comes with the Brompton bag mount.
@ibikeunfolded
How good is that 👏
Do Tern have anything that could enable a brompton bag being attached ?
Hi Brian, Glad you’re back. I’m just wondering how you managed to fix your T bag to your Zizzo?
The new 2023 Zizzo forte comes with the front Brompton Bag Mount.😃👍
