Nice content guys good job mentioning Owen and Bret vs steiners on the 94’ challenge vhs
If you were a wrestler it would be a cross between Horace hogan & Repo man
And then fitted cap Fred durst - ur disciple - would be a cross between k-dawg, Jeff Jarrett , & prince iaukea 😂

Crazy how much changed from 92 Rumble to the 93 Rumble. Funny 1 Banzai Drop your fine, but 2 of them your done & removed from the Rumble lol. Nailz actually choked out Vince backstage at a show in Green Bay. Thanks 2 Bill Watts The Steiners are now in the WWF. I agree the tag division at this time was a mess. Marty & Shawn was definitely a year late, the steam on this feud was gone. I only remember seeing Sherri in WWF a couple times after this. Marty won the IC title in May, that interview with Joe Fowler (u won it u lost it etc.) was actually at SummerSlam not KOTR.No build up for Bossman & Bam Bam, I had a feeling Bossman's time was about up for this run. Bret has said before, originally he was gonna face Warrior & beat him with a sharpshooter, I have a hard time believing this.i didn't like Razor being sacrificed here, I agree Flair should of been in this match especially with him leaving for WCW after he loses the next night 2 Mr Perfect. Razor did hurt his knee in this match& that is why he wrestled Backlund at WM9 & didn't do the Razors Edge. The Owen beating was kinda funny I always remembered that. I liked the Narcissist character way better than the all American thing, however with all the steriod stuff going on, this character probably wasn't a good idea. Caesar & Cleopatra was yawn as was babyface Backlund. I like how Tenrue & Carlos Cologne just randomly are a part of this PPV without being in the company or any build up. Terry Taylor was only back for a few months then right back 2 WCW 2 put everyone over lol. The Giant Gonzalez outfit was absolutely ridiculous & unnecessary. The Earthquake Typhoon thing really didn't make sense, they had been off TV since Survivor Series & there was no buildup or follow up to these 2 feuding. Macho Man trying 2 pin Yokozuna made no sense, Macho Man was about 2 find himself a seat sitting on the bench for the rest of his time in WWF. I was hoping Macho would win but had a feeling Yoko was gonna win it. This show was ok, but something just felt off about this night, felt like the life had been sucked out of the WWF compared 2 a year ago. This show is also the night the boys get ahold of Lawlers crown in the back, I'm sure you've heard about it lol. I thought things were getting bad in 93 but then 95 said u wanna see bad hold my beer lol. Hogan & Beefcake return in a couple weeks, how lucky we are lol.

I've been waiting for this one. Razor was pretty banged up, so Bret carried that whole match. Bobby Heenan was overselling big time.

Nailz was such a boring character. It's funny to me that Nailz was fired allegedly for punching Vince in the face and cut several years later and Bret Hart did the same thing to Vince after Montreal. The wrestler doing Nailz would go to WCW as a Nailz type character and Vince threatened legal action if they kept that going.
    STEINERS VS BEVERLY BROTHERS
I can't really comment too much here. WCW handled the Steiners so much better than WWF did. When I watch a Steiner match in WCW it's great. When it's WWF (aside from the Cage match with Ted DiBiase and IRS) it's a slog. The Beverly Brothers I never got into, no charisma at all. The match itself had no build up. I can't even remember if they had any storylines because it was that underwhelming.
    SHAWN MICHAELS VS MARTY JANNETY
Whenever these two get in a match together it typically goes very well. I really felt bad for Jannety because Shawn screwed him over, which is why Janetty even beat him to begin with and then Vince had Shawn win to set things back. So the whole push for Jannety was just to teach Shawn a lesson. Sherry Martel really does a great turn for Babyface. She's mostly known as the bad girl valet but her turning good turned out great.
BAM BAM BIGELOW VS BIG BOSS MAN
These two big men being able to perform as they do here was great. Big Boss Man leaving is upsetting, he was a great heel and babyface. He would go to WCW as a similar character than return to WWF as a tougher version of the character in all black. Bam Bam Bigelow was a great heel, I remember loving his character during this time.
    BRET HART VS RAZOR RAMON
This to me was a huge push by Vince for Razor Ramon. They can see how the fans were loving his arrogant attitude & down to Earth personality and to be honest I think it would've been great if Razor actually won this match and became chsmpion. Would've changed the whole structure of things.
Bret Hart as champion was a great run during this time as you said he was a Fighting Champion which when you see what happens with Hulk Hogan & Yokozuna throughout 93 and 94 they pale in comparison to the work Bret Hart did and as much of a Hogan fan in the 80's that I was Bret Hart is an overall better champion.
Lex Luger's introduction here is one of the most hilarious intros I've seen. Bobby Heenan is praising him like he's a God and it makes you wonder how much was acting and how much is Bobby really in awe of him. It becomes cringe after a while. But I also have to wonder, why did they do on a PPV? Luger was actually part of Vince's WBF (after leaving WCW and having a great run there) where Luger was being pushed. Once that folded Vince decided to have him come to WWF as a heel.
    ROYAL RUMBLE
You can feel Vince's push for Bob Backlund here and the fans were actually eating it up. I'm not sure why Vince didn't keep it going but Backlund did a great job in his feud with Bret Hart later on and he even further helped the feud between Bret and Owen Hart. Yokozuna does fantastic here but do wish Bob won here.
