Miss that og Nidhogg aesthetic. The way the clouds vanish as if to point out the madness that is walking on them to you with a simple series of flickering puffs. The way the world is made of the same stuff that you are, and vice versa. That the thing you stand on, wield and face are the same series of sequenced code that make the pixels of your world as you live to fight for another day in it, or be made to return to the earth, leaving it a bit more colorful than how you had found it, just for having been there.
@@HowserMaeve good thanks what grade u in now? I played this game a lot when I was in like 2nd 3rd grade with my dad and lil bro. Now I’m in 9th grade lol. Time passes so quickly
@@avinath1 I've been out of school for about 3 years now, I think I first played Nidhogg with my younger brother when it had a booth at MoPop in Seattle around 8th or 9th grade, and then after that I had a friend group from 10th grade onward who I would play it with voraciously.
@@HowserMaeve sheesh. Sometimes I reflect on the times that I used to play this game and I wish I could just go back to those times and change everything for the better. Or rather just experience everything again. Life is just getting more complicated for me and I’m not prepared for change, wish I could go back to the simpler times
@abcdefghijklm nopqrstuvwxyz I wasn't sure but a quick google search tells me that Daedelus did not return for the sequel, they instead hired a guy called Mux Mool that I hadn't heard of before. Daedelus is a pretty popular electronic musician from the late 90s and early 00s, you might know him from the sample on MF DOOM's "Accordion"
Daedelus actually did do one of the OSTs for Nidhogg II, it’s called Tiptoes. Shame he didn’t do anything else for it but that one track is pretty damn good, as well as some others in the sequels OST, though with different vibes.
This song plays in my head on repeat on inopportune occasions... and it just keeps playing and playing.... in my dreams too every time something bad happens, it's like that song from curb your enthusiasm in my life.....
This may not directly answer your question, but if you have Spotify premium you can rip this vid, turn it into an MP3 and add it into your library through the desktop application. It'll sync across both platforms. I honestly don't think Spotify had this feature when you published your comment, but I used this feature to get LISA: The Painful OST on my phone. I even think Messhof would be proud that we care about his music enough to pirate/ rip it, but that's just my opinion. Not like I created this game or anything
I swear some of the most unrecognized games have the best music
I agree

are you talking about that game or about life?
Games like Nidhogg are so nostlagic, everything was so unique, this vibe can never be replicated ever again, God I miss 2016 so much

Still sad this isn't on Spotify
I would instantly like it
This is what the credits to life should sound like
Wow 5 years ago just for me to remind you it exists by saying that i agree with you
If this game was a ps1 game, this ost would've been extremely nostalgic.
I was just thinking how it sounds very 90's
It still is nostalgic
It's nostlagic for us born from 2000 to 2005
@@chronoslv3 that’s cuz it was made by daedalus
It's almost 10 years old and I still remember clearly when it came out. Does that count?
cant believe this game is nearly over a decade old now. genuine nostalgia
this soundtrack was composed by Daedalus??? holy shit that explains a lot it’s incredible
