When Mr Game&Watch is turning direction will holding a crate, a barrel or an hammer(not sure about the fireworks launcher) he'll make a smooth 3d-looking animation effect instead of directly flipping.
Hikaru Midorikawa indeed has a wonderful voice. I wish they had left "let's dance" in. Always thought it was weird how they didn't dub Marth and Roy, either but still took out Falco and Mewtwo clips...
AntChodeny "No because Marth hasn't been in a Fire Emblem since the first game." Yet "Shadow Dragon" exists, as goldensonic [the person you replied to] pointed out. Shadow Dragon was an ENGLISH remake of the first Fire Emblem game. And Marth was the main protagonist. So he has been shown speaking english [granted it was only text]. Also Ike's 2 games, "Path of Radiance" and "Radiant Dawn" had fully voice acted cutscenes. He already had an english voice so there was no reason for him not to speak english. GoldenSonic64 I think it's already been proven that he doesn't speak english. I can't remember the tournament very well but they had Marth playable and I believe he still spoke Japanese.
Same here. Other than maybe the first few notes, I hear absolutely NOTHING of Melee's theme in it. They're massively different, so how could they have taken inspiration from it?
3:30 dk sounded nice. In Brawl, Diddy sounded terrifying. Good god his chirps and screams when he’d attack had me shaking. They were aggressive. Not just aggressive, but “nasty.”
The Fountain of Dreams theme was also featured in Kirby Triple Deluxe. Triple Deluxe also featured the "dodge roll" and "air dodge" abilities from Smash Bros. Not to mention, Kirby's Epic Yarn also featured many reused voice clips from Smash Brothers, making Mario vs. Donkey Kong not the only game to do so.
3:33 Something I always thought was really interesting. Phillip Bartlett, the voice actor who gave our Mewtwo that phenomenally angry yet tragic, perfectly fitting, iconic voice in Pokemon: The First Movie; passed away in 2001. The same year Melee released. Intentional or not, how fitting is it that our Mewtwo should be silent the year his voice died?
The reason why Marths and Roys lines were not translated is because they were supposed to be japan exclusive. Only at the last second they desided to keep them in, leaving no time to record and implement new lines.
ZigTheHunter Roy was planned for Brawl, but they ran out of time. All of his data is in Brawls code, but unfinished. It was how he was put in Project M, he just had to be finished.
shadowfaxs1 Neh.. what bothers people is that it just sucks.. whether Jennifer's voice sounds exactly like Jessica or not.. 1. I did notice a bit more devotion and 2. Retro did the right choice by not including it.
3:00 there's a kirby game where you can get the "smash" power that let's you use the rock, sword, fighter and others powers of the kirby in SSB, just doing the same combos.
Great Cave Offensive Rest Area is one of my favorite video game tracks. It is very catchy but relaxing. It's used in "safe haven" areas, which is very fitting. The GCO and All-Star-Mode are both very hectic and slightly stressful situations, but still very fun.
***** Even so, removed. Mewtwo for Lucario is self explanatory. The way the saved Data seemed, they wanted to bring back most if not all Melee Characters, but Dr. Mario is Mario, Pichu is Pikachu and Roy is Marth, who Ultimately survived his purpose, But hey, they didn't announce everyone yet. Maybe they'll bring him back, as another ad for Fire Emblem 14. lol
ChrisLandEverything Yeah but Ike is also Marth, Ganondorf is Captain Falcon, Toon Link is Link. Ike was added because he was also an advertisement for his own game, and is returning to Smash 4 with his Radiant Dawn look despite that being years old now. Toon Link is still coming back despite being a shorter clone of Link, and while Ganondorf hasn't been announced yet, it's likely that they haven't announced characters that you'll have to unlock. So who knows who all we'll be getting in this latest installment, it already seems like a huge roster.
***** So if not for that would they not be in Project M? And here I thought they were skillful enough to make full fledged characters from scratch. Rukifellth The Shadow Ike is hardly even close to Marth. Yeah sure Ganondorf is Captain Falcon but he is his own character unlike Dr Mario who is literally just Mario in a Doctors outfit. Yeah I can somewhat agree with toon link. Advertisement or not Ike has had a main role in a fire emblem game more often than Roy has so his value to the series is much higher.
***** I don't know about Roy, I know they made Mewtwo from scratch. to quote SiLeNTDo0m "one of our lead animators spend approximately 700 hours creating Mewtwo's animations."
Rukifellth The Shadow I'm sorry, what, did you just call Ike a Marth clone? "But Ike is also Marth" You have to be the most special person in the world to not see their differences, the only thing they share is a game series.
Awesome as always DYK. Mr.Game & Watch being 3d was all kinds of mind fuckery. In regards to the unused Jennifer Hale voice clip, the PAL version of Metroid Prime also had an opening narration by a guy named Jay Ward, which didn't appear in any other version. Mr.Ward was brought back for the two Metroid songs in Brawl that have that narration at the beginning. He is also the English voice actor for Wolf and Meta Knight.
He was right how the Japanese goes over NA/EU gamers' heads. Iv always wanted to know what the hell marth was saying....also I'd like to know since marth and Ike are from FE, why does Ike speak fluent English and marth doesn't? (Sorry I'm not a fire emblem fan :B I never played any of the games)
I'm pretty sure it's 'everyone' I'm not Japanese expert, but out of my many years of being an otaku I noticed that whenever someone says 'mina' they say everyone. Also, that big titted weaboo whose name escapes me always says "mina-san' at the beginning of her videos. Again, I could be wrong. I just didn't hear 'senpai'
I remember when I first found out about G&W being 3D. There's a code using game shark where you can swap different character's movesets. This works about as well as you'd expect (almost everything crashes), but surprisingly enough, if you give G&W certain other character movesets (I used Mario, I think), you can see his 3D model clear as day. It's actually sorta creepy....
Robert Kelly It's just cliche at this point. Doesn't help that Roy's voice in Japanese sounds like every other hot-blooded teenage hero in Anime and Tokusatsu.
Thank you for making a amazing channel on UA-cam, I really Feel Smarter By knowing more facts about gaming, and feels really good to know some facts about the games i use to play that i did not know! Thank you!!!
-Why was my comment deleted? I linked to the music and said I didn't think it sounded like the Melee theme...- Nevermind, it was restored. Nothing to see here, folks!
ViKing Games NOTE: I am not a music expert, so you'll have to excuse me if I use the wrong word for something. There is more to music than just how long to hold a note and seven tones (eight if you live in Germany). For example, the piano has 88 keys, if I'm not mistaken, but there are only 7 notes (A, B, C, D, E, F, and G) or, if you count sharps and flats, 12 notes. There are several C keys on the piano. One C is at a different octave than another C. Furthermore, a guitar can play a multitude of the same notes as a piano, but a guitar is obviously made different, so it sounds like a guitar and not a piano. It should also be noted that one instrument may not be in the same key as another instrument, causing one note (such as a B flat) to be a completely different note. There are also different tempos. To play a song twice as fast, you need to double the tempo. A half note at 60 beats per minute is held just as long as a whole note at 120 beats per minute. If the tempo is multiplied by an odd fraction (such as 3/7 or 8/3), one might not notice it is the same song save the tempo. The synthesizer (you can look up what synthesizers are) they used for 64-bit Nintendo 64 is completed different from the synthesizer they used for the 6th Generation GameCube game. They made the dark and eery music sound majestic and triumphant. They changed quite a number of things about the "Bowser In Dark World" song, and it may sound greatly different, but if one listens closely, a lot of the ideas from that composition are left unchanged.
Ducks are a more superior race than humans. Look at me I'm a mixture of 3 animal-based Pokémon, if I were a duck then I wouldn't need 3 animals to be at the same level as a duck.
There was a similar event in Brawl and Kirby Superstar Ultra which came after, Dedede's congradulations screen in Allstar Mode is him sitting at Eldin Bridge staring at the sunset, possibly foreshadowing the ending the of one of the new modes in Kirby Superstar Ultra where Dedede walks with the sunset.
I feel that the menu (both of them) sound a bit like the theme that was playing when you were talking about hell valley sky tree's. I'm pretty proud of myself for coming up with that myself!
I just love the rest area music in melee. The remake is just gives you such a warm peaceful feeling inside. More games need that theme song. 2:47 yeah it kind of sucks that not all of them made it out. I really wanted to play heroes of light and shadow on DS. 4:56 I keep having a friend argue with me that Marth will stay japanese in the next smash because he doesn't have an english voice actor and that shadow dragon is a stupid reason for him to suddenly start speaking english. What do you guys think? I think he will be speaking english this time around but what about the rest of you?
They could use the voice actor he voiced him in the Fire Emblem anime, apparently the guy who voiced him in the English dub also did the voice of an Awakening character
***** I'll reserve final judgment for when the full game is out. It could be a placeholder. Of course chances are it probably isn't either but none the less I'm still not ruling anything out.
Don't know if you'll see this but I want to say to Yungtown: You have the PERFECT voice for this. You have the type of voice I enjoy listening to and your delivery as far as narration goes is spot on for this type of "trivia and history" type of show. You do amazing work sir.
You had a little Fire Emblem trivia in this video. I'd kinda like to see more. Like maybe you guys should make a whole video for Fire Emblem trivia or something.
You forgot to mention one thing. If you change Melee to Japanese then go to the character select screen, certain characters will have their names changed to their Japanese names. Bowser will be Koopa and Jigglypuff is Purin. The best part is that the english announcer will attempt to say these names in a Japanese accent. So flawless.
But Falco when he wins in Japanese says "Teki wa gekitsui!" which means "Enemy Shot Down!" rather than "with time to spare"... just saying... How do i know that? Because in most mecha or military anime they say this when they shot down an enemy aircraft or mech.
The Japanese translation for Falco at 4:07 is incorrect. He's actually saying "Enemy Aircraft Down" and also the little Japanese thing at the bottom is completely wrong. That's not it at all. The correct Kanji is "敵機撃墜" I know this is completely late and isn't gonna do anything but I just wanted to let you know. I'm half native Japanese so I can see what you were trying to say here.
***** I didn't play online anyway, I can't stand the lag and it was pretty hard to find people... being in europe. ***** Someone made it work on hackless too... I read it on the subreddit, just search around, you may find it, if you're interested that is.
***** You can still play netplay which has always been more stable than wifi anyway, and with the creation of matchmaking websites finding other players is easy.
Future Gohan New Mystery of the Emblem, or Fire Emblem 3, was remade after Shadow Dragon. People consider Shadow Dragon and New Mystery of the Emblem's remakes to be "FE11" and "FE12", making Awakening "FE13."
The strategy to include Roy in Melee worked really well, considering that Sword of Seals (or Fuuin no Tsurugi in Japan) went on to be the best selling Fire Emblem game of all until Fire Emblem Awakening.
+Name. That's it. "This was to promote the upcoming sixth Fire Emblem game in Japan." Yeah, something tells me even then, he wasn't out yet. Honestly go back and listen to the video before jumping the gun.
If you pay attention to Mr. Game & Watch when he uses the Hammer, he actually rotates in full 3D if you switch the direction that you're facing. Despite this, I'm STILL surprised that he's actually a 3D model.
I THINK WE ALL WANT TO KNOW!!! 3DS version is being released this summer (if it isn't delayed like most of the Nintendo titles that have come out recently), and the WiiU version is being released this winter
The 3ds visuals look kinda bad, but its the low lame limitations of the system, if you want to make a game for both a crazy good graphical system (the Wii U), and a mid graphical system-the graphics are effected, as well as how much you can put into the game, since the 3DS is so small in....well....just about everything expect the size... If you want to get mad at me go ahead.
Also, final smashes were also planned for Melee, like unused dialog for C. Falcon was found saying, "Come on!" and "Blue Falcon!" There were time constraints, so they weren't added until Brawl.
My friends always ragged on me how Marth was feminine and wore a tiara, now if they see this they will poke at his translations too. Let's Dance did make me laugh though.
thebluePumpking Why should he? He doesn't live in a japanese-inspired kingdom, his games are obviously set in fantasy Europe. If we were talking about a japanese character, he really should stay japanese, but Marth is not japanese. He's barely european.
A neat little art design fact I found: Despite what people say on the internet, Samus's power suit design in Brawl is not modeled after her Super Metroid appearance, but it is actually based off her Zero Mission appearance.
Wow, all these facts I had absolutely no idea about!
Most importantly....
MR GAME AND WATCH IS 3-D?!
...
I've been lied to.
It's ok, we all were. we all were.
When grabbing G&W with certain characters, you can tell he is 3D. Sometimes his flattening effect doesn't work (I noticed this with Snake).
***** Mewtwo's side b does that too
Something about seeing him in 3D is vaguely disturbing...
When Mr Game&Watch is turning direction will holding a crate, a barrel or an hammer(not sure about the fireworks launcher) he'll make a smooth 3d-looking animation effect instead of directly flipping.
If the crowd says "Roy's our boy" and "We like Ike", then what would the crowd say about Chrom when cheering for him? Chrom's the bomb?
We Like Ike was actually the campaign slogan of Dwight David "Ike" Eisenhower. It was added in as a history nerd joke.
Chrom’s our mom.
that g&w thing fucked me up more than anything
Right?!
+P. Dongus (Zoop) You'd think he's 2D, Right?? right? oh. REALLY? Wow!
I fucking died when Marth said "Let's dance!"
He does have a move that's called Dancing Blade.
OneRandomVictory Yeah, I know. I just thought it was funny that it was the only English line.
Hikaru Midorikawa indeed has a wonderful voice. I wish they had left "let's dance" in. Always thought it was weird how they didn't dub Marth and Roy, either but still took out Falco and Mewtwo clips...

I think it's already been proven that he doesn't speak english. I can't remember the tournament very well but they had Marth playable and I believe he still spoke Japanese.
That last fact.
*puts on sunglasses*
Blew my mind.
It made me shart myself
You can actually see it yourself if you have SSBB! Just play as snake and use your grab move on Mr. game and watch.
TinCanTARDIS you can also see it when he is in his metal form
1:20 I really don't hear the resemblance. I guess they're sort of similar, but not as much as they're claiming.
Same here. Other than maybe the first few notes, I hear absolutely NOTHING of Melee's theme in it. They're massively different, so how could they have taken inspiration from it?
Mewtwo's voice actor in Melee is Masachika Ichimura, who also voiced him in the movie and Mewtwo Returns.

7 years late to tell you this, but... Bartlett’s alive
4:51 I wish that was put in, for some reason it sounds pretty hype.
The reason why Marths and Roys lines were not translated is because they were supposed to be japan exclusive. Only at the last second they desided to keep them in, leaving no time to record and implement new lines.
Is that only referring to Melee? With that logic they should have had more than enough time to get some English done for them in Brawl.
Well Roy isn't in brawl and Ike has an english voice.
I guess I should have said Marth specifically... Kinda forgot about the Roy and Ike stuff
ZigTheHunter
Roy was planned for Brawl, but they ran out of time. All of his data is in Brawls code, but unfinished. It was how he was put in Project M, he just had to be finished.
Robert Kelly I'm aware and that doesn't matter, he would have still been in japanese for the same reason as Marth.
Commander Shepard played Samus? That is a great bit on info.
Jennifer Hale has done tons of voices. She also voiced Naomi Hunter from Metal Gear Solid, for instance.
They should've used her for Other M. Maybe then at least the voice-over wouldn't have sucked.
argoth83
I have no idea what this "Other M" is, but something inside me screams in unfettered agony at the mention of it.
shadowfaxs1 Neh.. what bothers people is that it just sucks.. whether Jennifer's voice sounds exactly like Jessica or not.. 1. I did notice a bit more devotion and 2. Retro did the right choice by not including it.

The Random El Duderino
It is called dancing blade so...
That Melee Menu music never gets old.
I used to play Roy in Melee so much, I memorized his victory lines.
Oh look who I run into
Loved Marth and Roy in Melee, their voices were badass and now 11 years later I finally know what they were saying xD
haha same here buddy xD
Great Cave Offensive Rest Area is one of my favorite video game tracks. It is very catchy but relaxing. It's used in "safe haven" areas, which is very fitting. The GCO and All-Star-Mode are both very hectic and slightly stressful situations, but still very fun.
2:06 The best version of Gourmet Race's soundtrack.
Now you guys see why Roy was removed, he was just an Ad.
***** Even so, removed. Mewtwo for Lucario is self explanatory. 3:42 MY GOD!! That's SO cool!
One of the guys from GameXplain should voice the next episode :D
I agree. I like these guys .
4:57 - Lol sneaky PM footage found its way into DYNG ;)
Rest song is such a peaceful video game theme
Awesome as always DYK. Mr.Game & Watch being 3d was all kinds of mind fuckery.

Mr.Ward was brought back for the two Metroid songs in Brawl that have that narration at the beginning. He is also the English voice actor for Wolf and Meta Knight.
In Smash 4, they should really give us the option to pick Japanese or English voices for the characters, kinda like Marvel 3.
Falco's japanese voice is badass! haha
It also sounds like a voice i've heard in One Piece, but I can't put my finger on it...
Sounds like Akainu
Sollux Captor Ah, He really does sound like Akainu. Cool. :P
He voiced Kuroobi from One Piece
*****
How did you reply to me before I even posted the comment?
Yeah, I just looked him up. He really does have a lot of roles in Anime & videogames. No wonder his voice is so familiar.
5:22 Third eye once again!~
I forgot how much I love the Save Area theme from Kirby. So peaceful.
Since they do have FE games with Marth localized now, I wonder if they'll have him speak in English in the next SSB game.
Not likely. Possible, but not likely. For two reasons, tradition, and Marth has no english voice actor yet.
i dont know why... but i want him to stay speaking japanese... why you may ask... i have a certain on-going joke, i use with my friends...
10superpower Spike Spencer, from the Fire Emblem OVA.
I forgot about that. I don't know if Nintendo recognizes that or not.
10superpower Most likely not, since when they localized Shadow Dragon, they used different names for certain characters and locations.
Finally after all these years I now know what Marty says
God damn auto correct. I meant marth
He was right how the Japanese goes over NA/EU gamers' heads. Iv always wanted to know what the hell marth was saying....also I'd like to know since marth and Ike are from FE, why does Ike speak fluent English and marth doesn't? (Sorry I'm not a fire emblem fan :B I never played any of the games)
ike's games are localised and were on gamecube and wii, marth speaks Japanese because his games were never localised outside japan.
You now know what Marty says? Wow, this is heavy.
I know right!
4:33
That Japanese translation seems off.
I think it really said
"Notice me Senpai"
"Senpai,please notice me."
"Notice me senpai!" "PLEEEASE!"
WOW DOOD
Emblemblazed coop Lps Yeah I hear 'everyone'
The trophy ones, besides Daisy's third eye, really got me. Hahah love these vids!! Keep up the good work!!
Roy says: "the most generic JRPG nonsense."
"For those whom I must protect, I will not lose!"
Really? How about promoting first, Roy?
He'll promote later. Muuuuuuch later.
So wanting to protect people is nonsense?
Robert Kelly It's just cliche at this point. Doesn't help that Roy's voice in Japanese sounds like every other hot-blooded teenage hero in Anime and Tokusatsu.
It's not just generic JRPG, it's more generic hero.
2:20 Kirby can shine!
"Oi, Sakurai! How do you propose we make this trophy here shiny?"
"Hmm... I know! We take a baby face, invert it, and emboss it."
My cousin and I absolutely love Marth and fangirl over him all the time. I hope they keep his voice the original in ssb4.
1:41 I KNEW I RECOGNIZED THAT FROM SOMEWHERE
6:04 This blows my mind.
There better at least be a Bulbasaur Trophy in the new game :P
***** This guy... This guy knows what's up

This series feeds the geek in me, keep 'em coming.
Amusing, and always keeps me interested throughout. Good job.
That Mr. G&W fact was mind-blowing.
The Melee menu theme is from Super Mario 64, not that other game... (Bowser in the dark world).
Yes...and it's originally from SM64.
Oh, my gosh!! You're right.

How about a Fire Emblem DYK video? As a newcomer to the series, I know I'd watch that.
And hopefully it'd prompt you to play more =)
(Psst! Download a rom of Genealogy of the Holy War and a translation patch!)
I love Marth and Roy's victory taunt.
At around 4:43 in the video, the Japanese text for Marth's first victory quote is incorrect. I wonder if anyone else noticed this...
They could use the voice actor he voiced him in the Fire Emblem anime, apparently the guy who voiced him in the English dub also did the voice of an Awakening character
lol Kratos from Symphonia
How is Kratos getting wi-fi on Derris-Kharlan...?
***** I'll reserve final judgment for when the full game is out. It could be a placeholder. Of course chances are it probably isn't either but none the less I'm still not ruling anything out.
He speaks English in Ultimate.
0:56 oh hey Jack, from BIOSHOCK
But Falco when he wins in Japanese says "Teki wa gekitsui!" which means "Enemy Shot Down!" rather than "with time to spare"... just saying...
How do i know that? Because in most mecha or military anime they say this when they shot down an enemy aircraft or mech.
Kinda makes sense considering most of his KOs come from spiking people with his Down-Air.
Code geass
gamereviewerbr that Dair tho...
I mentioned this to them when I saw it, there are annotations over it now. It's 敵機撃墜 "Tekki gekitsui".
And I'm pretty sure Marth doesn't say "Everybody, watch me!, but rather "Everyone/body, I'll watch over you!"
Marth: "Let's Dance!"
I'm half native Japanese so I can see what you were trying to say here.
that game and watch bit at the end blew my mind.
Melee's opening theme isn't reminiscent of Terranigma so much as it is a major key of Road to Bowser from Mario 64.
Grant Kirkhope...
A legendary man, he is.
HANDS OFF MY PREY
*HANDS OFF MY BREAD
*****
RIP in peace Brawl boards 07-09.
Was I the only one who thought it sounded like he was saying, "Hands off my prick!"
I always thought he was saying "hands off my friend"
ITALIAN N1NJA Dang it you beat me to it.
Nice, I was just playing Project M a few minutes ago.
***** People using the disk can't, we can only play brawl online with tha Wifipatch, only people using a usb loader can play PM online for now
***** I didn't play online anyway, I can't stand the lag and it was pretty hard to find people... being in europe.
***** Someone made it work on hackless too... I read it on the subreddit, just search around, you may find it, if you're interested that is.
***** You can still play netplay which has always been more stable than wifi anyway, and with the creation of matchmaking websites finding other players is easy.
Smash Bros' music has been always part of my favorite aspects in the games. Great as always!
Btw, Mewtwo really needs a better microphone.
4:37 "Saucy emoticon"
1:15 omg never notified it oO Mind=blown
Fire Emblem 12 was never released in America
There is no fire emblem 12
It's also missing from the picture, along with Shadow Dragon.
Future Gohan
New Mystery of the Emblem, or Fire Emblem 3, was remade after Shadow Dragon. People consider Shadow Dragon and New Mystery of the Emblem's remakes to be "FE11" and "FE12", making Awakening "FE13."
Future Gohan
It was a remake of Fire Emblem 3 Book 2
fireemblem.wikia.com/wiki/Fire_Emblem:_Shin_Monsh%C5%8D_no_Nazo_~Hikari_to_Kage_no_Eiy%C5%AB~
Joe Green Remakes don't count as part of the story
So "Hands off my bread" existed in Melee?
There's also a snippet of Kirby music in Melee's opening. A part of Butter Building from Kirby's Adventure plays.
The strategy to include Roy in Melee worked really well, considering that Sword of Seals (or Fuuin no Tsurugi in Japan) went on to be the best selling Fire Emblem game of all until Fire Emblem Awakening.
So Roy wasn't even in a video game until smash melee. U can't blame him for being a clone guys.....
+AcePlays *Face Table* HE WAS!!! IN JAPAN!!!!!
+Name. That's it.
"This was to promote the upcoming sixth Fire Emblem game in Japan." Yeah, something tells me even then, he wasn't out yet. Honestly go back and listen to the video before jumping the gun.
**Wins a fighting tournament**
... Wait, why am I here?
***** Do a Castlevania DYKG feat. James Rolfe!
Anyone else get teary eyed when listening to these?
If you pay attention to Mr. Game & Watch when he uses the Hammer, he actually rotates in full 3D if you switch the direction that you're facing. Despite this, I'm STILL surprised that he's actually a 3D model.
DAT SUPER SMASH BROS. HYPE! CAN'T WAIT!
ME NIETHER!!! WHEN IS THE 3DS VERSION BEING RELEASED?
That's exactly what I want to know!
+mericagirl1234
we all know that the 3DS version is being released in the summer. I just want to know an EXACT DATE, not a general idea.
I dunno, the menu theme sounds more like "Koopa's Road" to me...
Dosen't Mewtwo's Japanese voice sound like Dr Claw from Inspector Gadget?
Also, final smashes were also planned for Melee, like unused dialog for C. Falcon was found saying, "Come on!" and "Blue Falcon!" There were time constraints, so they weren't added until Brawl.
That last one was -mindblow-.
game and watch. 3d.
Mind => blown.
My friends always ragged on me how Marth was feminine and wore a tiara, now if they see this they will poke at his translations too. Let's Dance did make me laugh though.
I hope they translate Marth for SSB4. I also wish I knew Japanese... ._.
no he should stay japanese!
thebluePumpking Why? I'd actually like to be able to understand what one of my favorite characters is saying.
RubyTheMaster Then all you have to do is look it up on the internet.
thebluePumpking Why should he? He doesn't live in a japanese-inspired kingdom, his games are obviously set in fantasy Europe.
If we were talking about a japanese character, he really should stay japanese, but Marth is not japanese. He's barely european.
Japanese is the superior language, so I suggest you learn it.
"Everyone, please watch me!" "Lets Dance!"
Hehehe made my day
A neat little art design fact I found: Despite what people say on the internet, Samus's power suit design in Brawl is not modeled after her Super Metroid appearance, but it is actually based off her Zero Mission appearance.
