Brilliant - again. Thank you. 😊
Thanks ladies , great job, lots of information, thanks for sharing what you’re wearing and your favourites.
Many thanks Becca for answering my question re the grainline
Thanks ladies, excellent video :)
Great recommendations thankyou, I didn’t know that we could buy the sewing society videos separately to the kits so that was brilliant information for me 😊
Loved the video, you are all so knowledgeable and engaging ❤
Hello! I’m learning from each one of you. Thank you. I love learning about the items you’re wearing also.
oooh I like the crossbody bags!
I enjoyed the video , very informative. Thanks for sharing!
Great job team!!!!
Thanks everyone. 😊
Great updates, thanks for top tips, I am looking forward to sewing this month’s sew8ng society bag, if a little daunted. Might be making a sample bag first before I use that gorgeous fabric ❤
Lovely informative vlog thank you 😊
Thanks for all the great information ! I have a question about buying ribbing for cuffs and bands and would be very grateful if you could answer it next week please. How do I calculate how much to buy in the different types, for example to make cuffs, bottom band and neckband for a sweatshirt how much tubular ribbing is required by the metre, or how many of the packs of cuffing? Many thanks!
I've just finished my Billie trousers - first sewing society project and first successful button fly construction (yay)! Question: can you tell me the type of interfacing included in the kit? It was really nice to work with and I wonder the name and description so I might find something similar in the US. Thank you for the videos and for the community you'e built!
Loving your video’s g&g team! I have 2 questions (apologies for being greedy!).
1. Should I use a stretch or universal needle (or denim needle?!) for lightweight stretch denim?
2. My overlocking feels very tight and restricts the stretch of the fabric when I overlock a single layer of jersey (e.g. before turning up a T-shirt hem. It doesn’t seem quite so bad on thicker jerseys/when sewing two layers. I’ve tried adjusting the tension of the various dials but haven’t had much luck. Any pearls of wisdom much appreciated!
Thank you,
Lauren 😊
Very entertaining video ladies, a pleasure to watch. I am in awe of your knowledge. A question if I may? I have bought double fronted jersey t-shirts (particularly in white) and I would love to do my own. I am perplexed as to how to join a double front to a single back. Without taking a retail one apart, I just cant work it out! Can you suggest a solution please?
I've recently become interested in the gathering presser foot and am hoping to find expert advice on one thing: how to make your gathered fabric (let's say skirt) end up the right width to sew on to the other piece(let's say bodice)?
I've got a question about thread. Is the Gutermann thread you use and sell made in Germany? The thread I buy in my local shop is made in USA and it's not the same. It frays and shreds and gets tangled really easily. If you try and wind it around the spool it will actually unwind. It's awful. Hope you can help me cause I'm going nuts trying to get this thread to cooperate . thanks
Do you ship to the US?
Hello, yes we do!
Hi, I'm a U.S. customer in Colorado, and would like to add parcels come quickly to me here - typically less than a week after mailing, always nicely packed and a treat to get!😊 Plus I can track via provided email link if I want to.
