    It’s really simple. The Transfer Portal has kicked in and the landscape of college sports has changed forever, in my opinion. If a 4 or 5 star recruits signs with a big time program and doesn’t play, they are going to transfer. March Madness has shown it big time.

    As a UConn fan, I'm nervous. The Huskies are the highest seed left in a tournament where top seeds have been dropping like flies. On a more serious analysis, UConn's biggest weakness is guard play, and Miami has great guards. Also, when UConn's hitting threes, as they've been doing all tournament, they're impossible to defend. But eventually, you're gonna go cold from three, and that would make UConn vulnerable. Hopefully they can remain hot for just one more week.

    • @MisterFribble
      @MisterFribble Рік тому +1

      I think UConn is gonna win it all. No other team has delivered the consistent brutal massacres that UConn has in this tournament. Not one game has been remotely close.

    • @colmecolwag

      UConn's got greater than fifty percent odds of winning the whole thing
      So naturally, that's terrifying.
      That being said in my experience here as soon as you get excited about a mid major having a chance to win something big a blue blood takes the joy out of everything and you're the only one there who has a chance to do that so you're pretty much a lock

    Conference-USA are extremely close to achieving the Triple Crown of March Madness. The Charlotte 49ers, firstly, won the CBI. The North Texas Mean Green and the UAB Blazers, both from Conference-USA, are in the NIT final. Now it all rests on FAU to go and win it all in the Big Dance.

That's the only way they outlasted everyone because they all lost in the same round

    Here’s what’s really shocking to me:
    The team in the final four with the best preseason odds to win the national championship is SDSU, at +6000. UConn was at +7500, Miami was at +9000, and FAU was at +250000.
    The champion with the lowest preseason odds EVER was 2014 UConn, at +6600.
    So, in other words, unless if SDSU wins the natty, there will be a new record for the lowest preseason odds to win March Madness. Crazy, and it shows no team expected to be dominant at season’s start really performed in March.

    College basketball is dead. I’ve been watching every big 12 game since 2012. It’s not the same ball anymore. NIL and transfer portal have ruined the game and turned it into the minor leagues. The reason college basketball was so great was the team play. Nowadays all you do TRY to build a superteam with mere KIDS who are making upwards of 700k dollars a year just from their college NIL deal. Like march madness or not it will never be 75% as good as it was before NIL. when you introduce money (money much bigger than you think) into these 19 year olds lives and let them move around like it’s a MFing professional league, it takes away from the beauty of what college basketball used to be. FAU over Miami

    I'm gonna cut straight to the chase
    UCoon is blowing Miami out all 5 starters avagre at least one offensive rebound per game which is gonna get Ominer in foul trouble and I think Uccon is a much better defensive team than Miami. I think Miami hit their celling as for FAU San Decigco State give me FAU the lack of offense esciapply with Matt Bradley not playing all to well is gonna catch up to them

      Miami wins it all. They want it and you can watch them play they are hungry. They do whatever they need to and win.
