Great review. This unit is on my short list (2) of pepper guns I'm looking at. What is more lethal, hiowever, is the elevator flute music in the (not far enough) background, which almost killed me outright by the end of the clip.
Reality is that anything… is a top choice better than a gunfight or the use of lethal force- but sometimes there is no choice and that is life. Allow no body to hurt you your loved ones or property. Always do try to walk away from confrontation- do the best you can and be genuine about it. Now this Pepper Blaster- the big size and lemon-yellow color makes it really not so Sporty- but that is the way it was intended to be and for reasons correct. Love the options they give you… do get the holster… do learn the item in full… get your Right to Bear certification… YES-!!! I do endorse the ability of this piece to respond to a threat from a good distance effectively… that is important… very important. Like anything CO2 operated… use the canister they recommend… load up carefully and correct as per CO2 goes… keep the piece clean and lubed correctly as per your CO2 manual on this piece … train well for sure. And wear it with you. While on public? Do not engage in tutorials or stories about it… just go about your day in private and quiet..ok. Watch signs on doors that are readily visible about ? Anything that you are carrying ok- those signs DO have to be readily visible. Do not walk on a Federal Building with this on you holstered - not a good idea at all. Common sense. Do not go to a bar drinking Fun-Day drinking with this on you holstered-not a good idea… do not start an argument with your neighbor over his or her loud dog with this thing holstered…this is exactly for “There was no other choice moment that was a real Emergency “…..someone cutting you off in traffic is not an emergency…
I carry 24/7 and have for many years. I cant imagine carrying that very large, banana yellow weapon on me. Sure, it could work. But id hate to pull it out against someone with a knife or real firearm. I'm 6 years prior service. We had training classes where we were tear gased and then fired at silhouette targets. I was hurting for sure - but i had no problem putting several rounds of 5.56 into the target. It did affect everyone differently. Some guys couldn't function when tear gased. But the majority of us were able to put rounds on target. I personally believe if you have the right to use this against someone, you would also be justified using a real gun. I can think of situations where this non lethal weapon would be useful. But id still want a real firearm on me. And that just seems too big to pack around on you.
Appreciate the comment. The s2 is a supplement to a real firearm if and when you come in the situation of needing self protection without the potential burden of taking a life. We do have it in black as well now, so less banana looking :). Stay safe!
