I am currently on this journey. I have been a straight hair natural for the last 6 months but now I miss my hair. I’m pledging no more heat and growing and trimming until I get rid of the damage! This is such motivation because we have similar hair texture!

Man this came at the right time cause I’m sooo frustrated rn, I’m just about to switch to a straight natural but you kinda convincing me to stay 😩🤷🏿♀️💕
I love the denman brush but I switched over to the Felicia Leatherwood brush and my shedding went down like 75%. I’m not sure what the magic is behind it but it is legit and much easier to clean!
I’ll definitely look into it, I’m hooked on the denman for the definition it helps give my more limp curls but I’m sure they’re better out there detangling wise. Thanks for sharing!

My goals are the same just getting my curls back healthy! Ever since I added color to my curls a few years ago they got damaged a little (I’m a low porosity girly).
That’s my story exactly (except I think I’m more medium porosity) the color will do a number but patience and you’ll be back better than ever🤞🏽

Beautiful Candice!😍😍 I’m def in the stage where my hair is not acting right, I’m frustrated so I have been wearing half wigs, full wigs, braids, twist, for months, anything to avoid me doing it lol. My fiancé keep asking me when Imma wear my hair 🙃🙃. He likes my wigs but but he loves my natural and I be like well if you love it so much, how about you style it lol 😅, but nevertheless, I need to get back to giving my hair tlc and start back loving it! Your hair is beautiful. I'm trying to love my hair again this year. Is the goal to have it out? I damage my hair keeping it and braids and pulling at my edges and now I have no edges. A little sad about that but I shall keep moving. Thank you for posting

How long do the curls last with just the foam ?
Since it’s a soft hold how long do this last before you have to redo this again? Also the front of my curls are damaged 😭😭😭😭😭
Do you use warm air or cool air to stretch your curls? Your hair definition with the mousse was pretty.
