This song always drives me to tears. Quick Man tries to convince himself he isn't afraid of dying, and eventually accepts his fate as just another casualty of the strife between Light and Wily.

I love the Megas they take songs that are already awesome, and then add their own flair to it, all set to well-written lyrics. I for one can't wait for their Mega Man 3 album.

Wonderful touches at the line "the moment of truth has arrived" being when you open the door to Quickman and of course when he dies and soon after "my circuits slow" starts.
This here is the best out of all the Megas videos.

Yep, Mega Man's kind of a pacifist so he makes sure that our IC chip (where our memories and personalities are stored) stay intact whenever he beats one of us. When any of us gets rebuilt we still have our original IC chip, so we're still the same old bot, just in a shiny new body.

I have to admit that I couldn't disagree harder with their assessment; the "corny" lyrics are so masterfully delivered with such a backdrop of amazingly remixed tracks that they transcend that adjective and somehow become "badass" instead. I think I fell in love completely with "Annihilation of Monsteropolis" when they perfectly blended "corny and badass" with the Robot Master that perhaps is the most "corny yet badass" of them all, Air Man.

I grew up in the 64-bit era and the generation 6 era. I didn't have an SNES until about five years ago.
People, this is truly a sad song. Quick Man is the one really powerful robot master that isn't insane. Therefore, he has nobody to relate to. He's lonely. Like Flash man, but without someone to look up to. To lessen the feeling, he created a scenario where people looked up to him as a sheriff. Whenever Mega man killed him, he refused to come back to reality. He stayed in his Old West town until his death. When he died, not only did he see the dead masters, but also the sad eyes of his people.
He's just doing his job. He's not inherently evil.
I really like this song, but it makes me so sad for some reason.

one by one kids were trying to get past those lazers
even with flash man's power at full charge not one could do it.
i steped up and beat the level on the first try without using flash mans power

^difficulty does affect laser speed, beating the boss wasnt the hard part, mastering the lasers was

@I'm The Campaigner-You kicked ass in this level! Didn't know it was possible to get through without Flash Stopper. :o I always arrive with Flash Stopper mostly gone and using Air Shooter to finish him off.
Probably a reference to the Quick and the Dead, a Clint Eastwood Western. The old western shootouts often had a fixation on who was quickest with their weapon.
Quickman believes he is the sheriff in a old west town, and Megaman is actually the bad guy.
Sonic was one of the guys who disliked this video, because he couldn't stand the thought of someone being faster than him.

He wasn't so much a sheriff as he was the master of his level. Since he controls the level, he's the law. The townspeople are likely his minions.
His fight really feels like a stand of 2 sheriffs. You have to know when you can draw and need fast reaction time.

honestly, the only reason not to go earlier is flash man to make the boss easier. and maybe air man, because air shooter destroys the sniper joe mechs.
the most interesting way to play the game is probably to go to metal man last. one thing people don't seem to know: metal man is weak to quick boomerang.

Honestly I always do metal man last. Quick man is the first one I usually do, weapons are really useless in his stage and quick boomerang can be useful in a few situations

You know what I hate about that puzzle room? If you're on Difficult, you have to destroy as many walls as you can, DIE, grind up more energy for the Crash Bombs, and go back (Because the destroyed walls will still be gone). Yes, I did try it with full energy, and I STILL didn't have enough to take it down in one life.
I always thought he was a corrupt robot and referred to the fact many evil guys say they bought out the cops or some such and so they are the law.

He helped Light create Protoman.
And he created Zero as the pinnacle in robotic technological evolution from Bass's power source (which itself was an accident)
