Wow, the timing of this episode couldn’t be more perfect! I started binge-watching the podcast in early December. I usually put on the episodes when I’m busy with something, like cooking or cleaning, to keep myself motivated. Now, at the start of the year, I’ve landed on this fitness episode just as I’m thinking about restarting my fitness journey and getting back on track with my diet after the holidays. The discussion on consistency and the fitness journey really solidified something for me. It reminded me that everything starts in the mind first. I’ve been intentionally pulling inspiration from different places to get my mindset right before diving in, so I don’t overwhelm myself. Thank you for the motivation. It truly feels like I’ve been chatting with friends!

Great episode ST!....I started running a year ago but have not been consistent. Prior to running I would normally incorporate a cardio session at the gym. I agree that there are words we use today that are derivatives of colonial languages. I do not, however, believe that it's because we didn't have words for those things. The thinking tends to supports the "colonialism brought civilisation" chat - which is obviously bs. I believe it's because our names for those things died with time because that's really what colonialism brought. Plunder.
Fair point - very fair and thanks for sharing it 🙏🏾 Interesting topic this one indeed. The word civilization on its one that can sometimes be misconstrued- perhaps something that these things did bring was and is “convenience” - which tends to be misinterpreted by many of us… Interesting stuff - often wonder where we could get the real answers for some of these things
No guys, we have to tell the necessary truth about these two being so entertaining😂😂❤❤

Plunder.
Fair point - very fair and thanks for sharing it 🙏🏾
Interesting topic this one indeed. The word civilization on its one that can sometimes be misconstrued- perhaps something that these things did bring was and is “convenience” - which tends to be misinterpreted by many of us…
Interesting stuff - often wonder where we could get the real answers for some of these things
I come from tick tok lol
