Thank you for making this. Perfect editing, all the info you need and none that you don’t. You’re awesome!
any time and I'm glad you enjoyed it, thanks very much.
Great video and thanks for taking the time to show actual step by step process. Also on explianing the pulse from the scan tool👍
You're welcome! and thanks for the time on this channel.
Great video had these symptoms in my 2005 Honda civic lx I was on the freeway doing 75 80 then my car just started to shake then the power went out then my car started slowing down and made my way to the right side of freeway then still shaking bad and started smoking under my hood. But it threw off a p0344 code not sure if it is my camshaft sensor
yes this is a problem with the cam sensor, hope it is the sensor and the wires or some thing else, thanks for sharing.
Exact same issue with my 2004.
Awesome video man thank you! So the fix was the Camshaft position sensor needed to be replaced in the end?
yes I end p replacing the camsensor, thanks for watching
Very good video! I like how informative it is! Did you end up replacing the sensor to fix the problem?
thank you, yes I replaced the sensor, it was deffective, all powers, grounds from the pcm to the sensor were fine but the sensor was sending bad signal to the pcm.
hi, yes i had to replace it because it was damaged, did not relize i did'nt mention i replaced it. i should have said that but i forgot it. thanks for coming to my channel.
Hola amigazo, solo le cambiaste el sensor de árbol de levas nomas o también el del cigüeñal?
Solo d arbol d leva Amigo
Good video hey I just did mine I used an after market one though and it definitely helped but it still acting funny my buddy said I should use a oem one what do you think
these hondas are very picky, some times after market wont fix the problem bu some times they will, best is to go with the OEM but make sure there are no any other problems causing the camsensor to seem the bad guy when some thing else is the culprit.
i just replaced the ignition switch in my 2010 honda civic and problem solved !!!!! the car was shutting off while driving and hard starts , so easy to change and cheap only $70 , honda is known for bad ignition switches and there was a recall for that !
great job im glad you solved the problem and thanks for your time on the channel.
God bless you and keep you
thank you very much I really appreciate your comment, stay bless you and your Family as well.
Can you show how to do the next steps if the sensor gets replaced and you still get a p0340 code
did you follow all the steps here? if you did make sure you used a OEM cam sensor because after market on these hondas act a little fanny, and if you dont have correlation codes or timing over/retard, then next step should be updating or either replacing the pcm with a known good pcm.
Thanks Hope this fixes mine I have the same issue....
I hope so too, and thanks for coming to my channel.
