Gotta check out the new trailer. It looks like fortnite/borderlands mix of art style. Really not looking good IMO and they changed the look of one of the favorites. Looks really weird, offputting
I may be in the minority here but I really enjoyed DA: Inquisition. Looking forward to what comes next. May play it in again before DA4 drops.
Nah a lot of people enjoyed it! Also by far the best selling DA game. With that said there's PLENTY to criticize about the game, especially the rather redundant "mmo elements." Dragon Age Origins will likely always remain the fan favorite. Don't even get me started on DA2... :-D
I have 480+ hours in DAI, I liked it as well.
One of the best RPG's of all time
@@WolfheartFPS DA2 is my favorite... :{
@@Rapunzel879 hey I love the story & companions! Unfortunately the game being rushed ruined too many other things such as the visuals, kirkwall just being a maze of walls and not an actual city, the million cloned NPCs etc really hurt the exploration aspect of the game, and I personally value that in my RPGs.
My bad for my pronunciation of "veil." My old accent came out for this vid 😂
Man I really hope the gameplay reveal is at least decent looking! I have plans to do a full lore series leading up to launch, and also if the videos do well enough it would be another dream come true to be able to do a full lets play series like I did with BG3. This let's play would be similiar to my BG3 one where it's pretty chilll, no webcam, & I would be commenting on lore bits as I go through the game. I am currently reading David Gaider's Dragon Age book series, & absolutely loving it. It's a shame he's not with Bioware anymore, but regardless this world's foundation is incredible & I am excited to see where the lore goes from here.
ALSO I forgot to stop & chat about this but yes it seems like we will have a party of 3 in this game. Kind of a bummer.

You're only bothered about the name change as there's no longer WOLF in it!😉😂
IMO it pretty much has to be very solid to give the game some confidence after the mess that was its development cycle.
I'm no native English speaker so I get teased a lot about using the verb "drive" for example. Apparently sometimes a strong German accent appears. Especially when I'm agitated or unfocused.
Hearing val for veil was curious to me, so I became the one doing the teasing for once.
I enjoy your videos and I hope you keep doing them for a long time.
For the new Dragon Age I have little hope. Origins rocked my world. To number II I had to warm up, as the graphics looked worse to me, than in part one. The beginning was just a brown and grey mess. I didn't enjoy suddenly being a named character, having no different origin stories and the combat system wasn't great either.
Dragon Age III was a nightmare. It felt as empty and frustrating, as a mmorpg (without other players). The combat system was another step backwards.
I doubt that number IV will be a hit after the development hell it was in. The good old Bioware is now only an empty shell.
But...one can hope for a miracle.
I was like "valguard" lol😂. Playful teasing of course
I found it funny, got a like.
3:35 Corporate speak for it took them nearly a decade and several reboots to settle on a concept.
Dragon Age’s story and lore is what keeps me interested in the series. I’m cautiously optimistic for the new iteration, however I don’t think I’ll preorder it as I did with the other games. EA has left me salty with the Mass Effect games lol. I really hope they bring the Grey Wardens back into the story as I felt that was their most compelling story telling of the Dragon Age series. The Mage/Templar conflict is interesting but for me.. the Grey Wardens were the soul protecting the heart of that world.
Same!
"My job sucks and the retirement plan is crap but it protects the world so i'll do it." - a Grey Warden probably
From what I recall they planned on having the Grey warden be the MC of the franchise, but due to EA having them pump out the next game in under 1.5 years they scrapped that.
I'm definitely cautious about the next game only because most of the talent that made their pioneer games so great are no longer with the company, and haven't been for some time.
Orgins had the only good story.
Well lucky for you we're going to Weisshaupt, the headquarters of the Wardens themselves in this game. The last we've heard of the Hero of Ferelden (if yours had survived Origins) they were deep in the Anderfels. So high chance we get the Inquisitor cameo and maybe even hear from the Warden in this one!
I'm scared because this feels like a final effort that will more than likely determine Bioware's future. With all the issues that keep piling on top from the let down of Mass Effect Andromeda, the failure of Anthem and the constant delay and losses with this Dragon Age game...this could be the savior or the final nail it seems
Yep, they will go the way of Rocksteady.
I don’t know why, but I feel like they aren’t very confident about this one. I could not care less about a name change what I care about is gameplay, but I get the vibe that this isn’t the bioware we used to know and love.
@XxXstylezXxX unfortunately they can't help but not be the Bioware we know since so many are gone. Unless there's some new blood to shake it up, I'm nervous.
But I really do hope it sways me towards hopeful.
@@DSTkunn I know I really hope the time they spent on this one was actually meaningful and they have learned from their mistakes over the years. I am really pulling for them and would love a top tier rpg in thedas
With all the announcements of studios closing this is a do-or-die moment for Bioware. I think if it ends up doing poorly and Bioware shuts down it will be a watershed moment in gaming history. Because as good as Rocksteady and Arkane Austin are , Bioware is a monolith.
I'm still going to call it Dragonage: Dreadwolf honestly.
I kinda like that name more too tbh but whatever I’m just excited we get to see this game
Right! It's annoying they changed it. I won't remember the new name. 😬
Yeah
Veilguard is a really lame name imo, Dreadwolf was much better and it's weird/worrisome they would change the title.
Multiple resets of story, name changes prior to gameplay footage, etc. Im not even bothering to buy it at launch. I'll wait several years.
I hate feeling this negative but... they have dropped every ball they once held firmly.
Sadly, "I will believe it isn't flaming trash when I see it isn't flaming trash." has become my standard gaming opinion on all devs with history.
Understandable
At least wait until seeing the gameplay to make a final verdict. The trailer mainly just introduced the characters.
@@user-mu1os7me8s Nope... final verdict these days is 6 months after release.
I cite Bethesda and Starfield as examples of why. A formerly good dev studio that is more into money than making games as good as they used to.... that releases flaming trash at launch, and is *still* flaming trash more than 6 months later. promises and gameplay footage cherrypicked for consumers to see isn't worth anything.
EA and Bioware have become synonymous with greed; lately they design games based solely around their monetization goals (as almost all AAA studios do now). So I will have to see it in action and fully supported to even *consider* reaching for my wallet with them.
@@user-mu1os7me8s It also introduces the overall tone and goofyness.
@@corwyncorey3703 Don't buy it until it's good. you will just fan the flames of the burning trash heap
Yall tripping. How can you trust EA or Bioware at this point?
I don't think many people trust them.
I woke up with my wife in the other room, shouting about how we'll soon get a gameplay reveal of the new Dragon Age game and how they had changed the name and that it was no longer called Dreadwolf, she then told me the new name, and I thought "what the hell is a Whaleguard, what Whale?"
In my defense I was still half asleep from the afternoon nap and was not yet fully in control of my thought process.
I will admit that "Veilguard" made more sense once I learned what it was actually called.
😂😂😂
And here I misread your name as, "TheOldMan" and thought, "Yes, this checks out."
I also liked DA:I. The first area felt like you were impacting the world. I look forward to seeing if they increase that in this game.
Lol
i am old enough to remember that Bioware is not Bioware anymore and knowing who their Bosses are, i am , dread, not of the wolf, but of what their overlords at EA have in their mine as monetization
I'm hoping it'll implement a beginning like Origins. I want to play a dwarven noble origin again.
Man I miss the origin system
Best origin imo.
I wish… origins is the series goat and every game after has felt mediocre in comparison. Didn’t like the simplicity in inquisition and I think da 2 was constricting and underwhelming.
@@josephtyndall7411 Having just seen the trailer... I had no expectations and still managed to be disappointed.
Wait and see for me. Especially after all the layoffs and the old timers leaving the studio. Hopeful I am.
Not a bad idea Harry
I think I'll be doing the same.🤔
"You and two companions" So, it's cut down to party of three? With 7 companions, you can take two with you? Blah.
Yup seems like it
Sounds like mass effect to me
I really wish I could be excited for this. I don’t think there is a single video game world with better worldbuilding and lore than Dragon Age, even at its worst the writing was always greater than any competition, and what EA did to this series is the greatest crime they have ever committed. I’m just going to hope that the story of Veilguard can give some sort of satisfying resolution to the series for me and that one day a real showrunner that genuinely cares about the world can bring justice to what this universe could have been
I put 500+ hours into DA:I and hundreds into DA:O (I F-ing ❤ them both) but I don't trust anything Bioware says is a gameplay reveal. I don't trust anything Bioware anymore. Anthem was a really heart breaking moment.
They need to drop the "The".
I agree! Would roll better
Had the same thought! Would fit better with Dragon Age: Origins and Dragon Age: Inquisition as well.
It's all a bunch of moron children at the wheel these days anyway. Don't expect much to make sense, like "Veilguard" instead of "The Veilguard". Bioware is dead and PEGI 12 Dragon Age: Fortnite is what rose from its ashes.
I really hope the gameplay will look good. Ive been waiting for the new dragon age like forever. The lore the depth dragon age has is insane, and im so stoked to see whats going to happen in the story
I love the "grieving period" for the lack of tactical combat! That's a good way to put it. I've had many grieving periods for disappointing games and shows (I'm still grieving the Netflix Witcher series! Don't think I'll ever move on!)
I haven't played any of the Dragon Age games, but I'm interested to see what they cook up. A little sad that they fired so much of their longstanding talent, so I'll wait to see reviews.
ahh the good old val.
Val kimmer
When I first read the two volumes of Dragon Age encyclopedia right before the launch of Inquisition, the worldbuilding has been my main inspiration to write my own novels.
I’m now working on my second novel. So yes, this franchise is influential to me in a big way
Awesome!
I'm a little bummed that Solas is getting pushed off a little more to the side. Still looking forward to seeing how it plays.
I was looking forward to smacking him on a regular basis after what he did in Inquisition
A big wait and see for me. I have no trust in Bioware as things stand. My standards for rpgs and games in general have risen to the point that I'm not willing to drop any amouny of money on something that I have even an inkling will leave me disappointed or a waste of my money.
Personally, I think part of the reason they aren't calling it Dreadwolf anymore is that we aren't going to actually fully defeat or deal with Solas in this game. I have a feeling we'll stop his overall plans and he'll run off in the end like a Saturday night villain.
Maybe he'll say: "I would have gotten away with it if it weren't for you meddling kids?"
Riight so they are just gonna make a sequel that ends the same way as the game that went before it, sounds amazing... not.
I loved the story of the Grey Wardens from Origins the most. It was the most compelling and deep lore from the game. DA2 was meh to me. DAI was ok, with some great concepts and cool cast of characters. Liked the Inquisitor as the main character a bit more than Hawke.
Here's hoping that they nail it with the game at least somewhat, since I love the worldbuilding in the DA series and am quite invested in it.
i really hope that the role play is more like origins in this game
We can only hope fam
inquisition was amazing tho. i think dragon age 2 is the only disappointment in the series
@@Falcons8455 from the role play aspect it wasnt but otherwise yeah
@@Falcons8455 Me beg to differ, I actually like the role-playing aspect in DA2 than Inquisition.
@@mj.412 i loved all dragon age games, but DA2 wasnt as good as i was hoping it would be.
Last time I watched some gameplay reveal from Bioware, it was Anthem. And it didn't end well sadly.
Next vid when?! We need to talk about this new art style!....
I hope its more like da: origin. Probably wont be but i can hope
Yea probably not lol
I’m guessing they want to go back to the mass effect 2 playbook if the ability wheel and 2 companions with you on missions is anything to go off of.
Bioware veering away from Origins was a huge mistake IMO.
I mean...Inquisition sold more copies than Origins and 2 combined. @@Ben1159a
Veilguard? What if I want the fucking thing to drop? :P
And only two companions at a time? Booo!
Right there with you. Bring the curtain down! And the "two companions" thing just makes me think of how ME game play was/is. Not what I was hoping for. Of course, I kept up with the news through the years, so I already knew that they were taking the game mechanics in that direction. Just wishing they had changed it. Le sigh.
Not a fan of just two companions. BioWare should be expanding the game, not making it smaller.
Yea so many talk about the name on the comments and about BioWare but no one talks about the 2 companions which is a big shock for me personally too. So glad someone points this out. One less means one less interaction and more thoughts about compositions… I think 3 was perfect. Maybe cause there will be “only 7” to choose from? Even 7 are enough the others had more I think. (to lazy to research atm) would have liked to know the reasons behind that decision.
Not gonna lie, between Inquisition being as good as it was, the fiasco of the live service threat, the shitshows that were Mass Effect Amdromeda and Anthem, and to add on Baldur's Gate 3 basically laying down the gauntlet for all other games in the rpg genre, this game has some big shoes to fill.
I'm SO glad that we can still pause to choose our next action as well! Action oriented combat is good to fastly dispatch generic mobs during grinding, but I really need that strategy layer to the combat in the tough fights in my RPGs :P
I preferred the tactical mode as well, but for whatever reason my game was very buggy with it in Inquisition.
I'm guessing the 7 companions will be 2x human, 2x elves, 1x Qunari and either 2x dwarves or one dwarf (guess who) and a fade creature - no new races. Companions are down from (I think) 9 choices, in Inquisition.
I am wondering if your own character has a choice of race or not - I hope you do get to choose like you did in Inquisition. I am really, really hoping they didn't cut corners to get the game launched, like in DA2.
I don't normally pre-order anything anymore, but if the gameplay reveal isn't a total fumble, I'm going to pre-order this as fast as I can. I've enjoyed all of the Dragon Age games in all their imperfection because the lore and the characters are amazing, and until Baldur's Gate 3 came out, I've never felt so empowered as a gamer to influence the story than I did with Dragon Age, especially Origins.
Yeah, as much as each game has been a departure from the previous, I've enjoyed them all so def a pre-order unless they really freak it up in the trailer
Why preorder tho ? Its digital so you can buy it whenever . But atleast see the game abit more.
@@jaxen231 I’ve been waiting 10 years for the game. I’m going to get it no matter what, so there’s no point in me pretending otherwise. Also, I’ve enjoyed all their single player RPG’s, even the ones that people disliked, and I want to see more, so I’m more than willing to show my support of this franchise and the studio at large.
June 11th is my birthday. I usually dread it, but now I'm looking forward to it! Hope we get a better look at who our companions will be!
what a pathetic cope. Pre-order is not going to make this dumpster fire any better. Enabler like you are also the problem why games stay shit or become worse and worse
Dreadwolf > Veilguard > The Veilguard. They really chose the worst name option for a last second switch after all these years of marketing😭🫠
Agreed.
Bro I had the same reaction as you when I read about the combat pause, I fucking loved the strategic combat in origins
I'm a 65yr-old gamer without being able to pause my dex ability score won't let me play it.
@@stevenwoodward5923 glad you will be able to play it!
Inquisition was a bit like a single-player mmorpg, which kind of sucked. I hope they move away from that.
Well at least it was better in many aspects than dragon age 2. but I get what you mean.
Origins and two were so boring. I couldn't get through them. At least inquisition kept players engaged.
@@socialenigma4476inquisition was fucking terrible
@@socialenigma4476 😂😂😂🤡🤡🤡
I guess they cannot make combat any worse than in Dragon Age Inquisition?
What ? It has great combat lmfao. Best in the series.
Inquisition was already an improvement (huge) compared to the 2nd game... But most likely this will be some sort of Mass Effect kind of combat
I had a pretty messed up experience with that combat. It was a dice roll whether or not the game would glitch out when using the tactical combat for me. I’ve had characters launch off the map, teleport to far off areas, drop from the sky, get stuck in place etc.
@@nanichicharitomiljan. Lol, no, it was dumbed down, a downgrade from both, Origins and DA2.
I'm hyped both for the gameplay reveal, and your upcoming lore deep dives! I mean, I've been playing these games for so many years and have read most, if not all, of the codex entries, but still... there's something magical to the way you make your lore videos so I'm hyped to see them return for my beloved Dragon Age!!!
Dragon Age Origins was amazing. Just like original Bioware was amazing... But recent Bioware just like recent Dragon Age leaves me about as excited as going to the dentist.
My biggest takeaway from this is we're probably getting 7 new companions as opposed to returning companions like Varric in Inquisition. I was wondering if we'd see some other companions we haven't seen in a while, like Merril and Fenris, but if we do it'll probably be as cameos/helpers like Liliana and Cullen.
Dorian will make for sure an appearance but as a “helper” as you say
Thank you so much i love your lore videos , you were the reason i got into dnd, before i found you i was afraid with so much lore to catch up on and not knowing where to start, keep up the good work, cant wait !
Thank you. Excited to dive in.
I’m not sure I can go through a whole cycle listening to him talk about the “Val-guard” lol.
Dragon Age -The Keep the world artificially nerfed-guard.
I hope we as the protagonist will be given the opportunity to work with Solas and heal the world in a way that also allows you the options of cataclysmic or smooth chaos minimizing restoration.
Dragon Age Veilguard is a PEGI 12 spin-off. Dragon Age 4: Dreadwolf is yet to be revealed.
Thanks for the update Wolf!!! Looking forward to the gameplay reveal. I assume that you'll be streaming it live... 🙂
Thanks Shadow
I'm a whirlwind of emotions. I loved Origins, I EVEN LIKED 2 -DON'T FKN @ ME, I'M NOT SAYING IT WAS GOOD- and had a really good time playing Inq. I want to be excited for...Veilwhatever. But I feel as though being overly excited will lead to disappointment after Andromeda. I had a particularly bad experience with the bugs in that game and honestly couldn't play it (because of game breaking issues on PS4 and on PC) until after their last patch and even then I was still getting yeeted off of the planet and walking into space when trying to get into my quarters. Nevermind the bluescreen of death I had almost a dozen times AT the first boss.
And I won't talk about Anthem.
I am more apprehensive than I am excited.
But I also NEED one more chance to punch Solas in his smug arrogant egg-head.
There's dozens of us! I mourn for what DA2 could've been had EA not been well EA and let Bioware actually cook. Lots of good stuff and interesting concepts that got abandoned because of the poor reception. I for one love the Friendship and Rivalry mechanic and wish Hawke had been the protagonist of Inquisition like was originally planned.
The new title brings some questions to my mind and it's kinda worrying. The title being The Veilguard and them saying it's about you and your companions, probably means you'll have to be a good guy, which means that there won't be much meaningful good/bad choices throughout the game. What I loved about previous DA games is the freedom of choice, you could make some really evil main characters back then lol. But let's hope I'm wrong.
My immediate prediction is Solas is no longer as important to the plot as was previously marketed.
Every order we’ve been apart we’ve always been essentially the good guys. Besides DA2 I suppose, I’m sure we’ll still be able to make bad choices just with a clear and certain main objective, protect the Veil whatever the cost.
That's only in Origins. And definitely that option doesn't exist in Inquisition.
I have loved the positive $hit out of all three DA titles - yes, even DA2! While I'm painfully aware of all that's happened with/to BioWare over the past 10 years, I refuse to be cynical about this game. I'm super stoked and can only hope it drops this year... 🙏
Same!
So only dread left in the game is the one I feel in my guts... Since Awakening every new Bioware game comes to me with immense hype and big dread as I know how badly they can mess their games up
If it is mid or decent I don't think it's going to cover 9 years of development...If it's not good I don't think the studio is going to last much longer, it might even cancel ME5 at this point.
Glad to see you covering this game!! Loved your coverage for bg3,
it really helps with being up to date, without having to read a bunch of different news articles, patch notes, videos etc.
And delivering some balanced opinion alongside all the info.
Honestly I don't expect much. So whatever they do deliver will be a good surprise.
So this will be 4PM UK and 5PM EU.
omg thanks!
This news was such a good birthday present lol! Can't wait for the gameply reveal and more news! Thank you for always keeping us updated Wolf! ❤
Great news. I knew we could count on you to cover this. Will you be streaming the gameplay? Loved Origins followed by Inquisition. Can't wait. Thanks Wolf.😃
Thanks! Yup I'll definitely also be streaming it.
oh no it has the gay purple writing on the logo. you know what that means
I'm cautiously curious for this game. I'm not going to put my hopes up high, but will await reviews with interest!
Looking at the Director of the game, im not at all too hyped for this game at all, it will be bad i guarantee it.
Dragon Age lore is sick and surprisingly dense
Instead of gameplay I'd like to get a sneak preview of the microtransactions.
There will be seven companions, not including the ones you get from the deluxe editions and pre-order bonuses.
But you can only use two at a time. That seems very small and limiting.
Really excited to watch the gameplay trailer, plus now I have your videos to watch to add to the hype, cannot wait.
Thanks Samantha.
Im scared for this game
The way you say the word "Veil" is so interesting
It's my old accent. Reason why I say old is because I thought I got rid of it lol but apparently it came back out for this vid :-D
@@WolfheartFPS Oh, I get it. My ex was from North Carolina originally but lost his accent. He used to tell e all the time that "Ninja Squirrel" was his favorite movie. It was years before I realized he was actually saying "Ninja Scroll"
YES! Thanks, Wolf, for covering DA4! I'm hopeful.
Cheers
The combat and focus on companions makes me think this is essentially a Mass Effect game in Dragon Age skin.
Hey Wolf! Always love your channel, been great following you and listening to your news coverage. Really hyped for the New Dragon Age, I hope they take the critiques of Inquisition in stride and have changed the combat system that had been showcased in earlier leaked alphas. Moreover, I truly hope they go back to Origins focus on Rpg mechanics, Da2's companions/combat (Unpopular opinion maybe), and dragon ages war table system being improved.
One note I wanted to make and please feel free to shoot me down or correct me, I think there might be some audio problems or settings you could adjust. Recently in the past 5 videos or so I hear this really subtle like tinnitus sound effect that has been causing me some pain. I don't know if others can relate to it (Please do comment if you too can hear it) I have heard that it depends on your age group where the younger you are the more sensitive your ears are. But it might be also quality of my headphones and there maybe no problem on your end (If that is the case ignore me entirely)
Thank you for all your hard work! Glad your getting sponsored!
Thanks! And damnit... I made several audio changes for this vid but it seems like the problem still exists. I will continue to tweak.
DA is my favorite franchise ever. I am so ready for this!
Real time with pause is an automatic k.o. criteria for me. And bioware I do not trust to make anything good anymore after they shat to bed with Inquisition (terrible), Andromeda (horrendous) and Anthem (abomination!).
TBF Andromeda was made by an offshoot team that were essentially fans of their previous games lol.
But agree with the other 2 points. Inquisition had decent combat imo, so if they didn't try to reinvent the wheel there and focused on other areas I will be skeptically optimistic but no high hopes ha.
“Amazing support from EA.” Even EA doesn’t believe this.
So the name. There was buzz around DA:Minrathous Nights (DAMN) but it didnt fly and it felt like DA:Dreadwolf (DAD) was a suitable replacement.
Now at first, DAV is weird. Looks too much like Dave. And THE Veilguard just interrupts the otherwise good flow of Dragon Age: Veilguard. But DATVG? The acronym is DAT VG? Absolutely incredible. Hats off to whoever decided to sneak in dat video game.
Still doesn’t roll off the tongue though.
"Dragon Age: Origins" doesn't "roll off the tongue" either, but rather it emphasizes the point of the game.
Excited to finally see what will be coming!
I've never played a Dragon age game. I'm looking forward to this one. Thanks for the video wolfster!
MITCHHHHHHH Thanks for all the support man.
Let's hope Bioware doesn't drop the ball on this one.
My dad has been crossing the days off on his calendar for the last 9 years waiting for this. Now he's currently at a therapist 😢
My main character in DA:I was called Wulfheart so this channel doing this really fitting
Eagerly awaiting the video after that abomination of a trailer EA just dropped. Fortnite animation dragon age looks absolutely vile
I don't know.
They said the companions and their story will be the center of the game, but they let go most, if not all their veteran writers
Also, the combat sounds like Mass effect to me
It's not necessarily bad, but I just wish it'll be more like Origin
Ill be excited to play through it and compare my story turnout compared to others as the story paths you can select on their page for all what happened in all 3 games is super unique.
I just want to see game play, story hints and no micro transactions
Let keep our fingers crossed the game come out well 🤞
Love me some Dragon Age!
Did anyone else also notice a Mass Effect board game when Wolf was covering the tweet(X)? Me wants!
So glad your covering this ❤
I guess my question on the name change is whether they will have to change anything else. If they feel the story that they already have is really better symbolized by ‘Veilguard’ that is one thing but if they are changing the entire narrative focus this late in development, that’s a problem, especially given BioWare’s recent history. Obviously there is no way of knowing until it comes out; maybe the 11th will give some hints. By the way, I’m right there with you on the David Gaider novels; The Stolen Throne is one of my favorite books of all I’ve ever read.
Praise the lord for play with pause! It's my all-time favourite series but I could not have played real-time combat, like actually couldn't have physically and it really REALLY sucked when that was leaked. Best birthday present ever. Yeah the name Dreadwolf was better and the name change is giving "exec wanted to feel important", but for all I care they can name it Dragon Age: Explosive Diarrhea as long as I have a pause button during combat.
It's been 84 years...I mean 10, but feels like 84. Only 2 companions instead of 3 with us in the world, that's a big change. Can't wait for the gameplay reveal.
I love Varrick but I really want him to be a side character instead of one of the playable companions, I want all brand new characters with backstories to explore.
I remember Skyrim and The Winds of Winter came out around the same time, so was that just a cursed period of time for fantasy projects that are landmarks? Because the sequels remained banished to shadowrealms.
Sounds like they are going for the Mass Effect style combat which combo abilities and everything.
@@derek8134 Yes, Varric is the Vicount of Kirkwall now, so he will prob have an advisory role. I hope we wiil have an Inquisition representative for a compaion which will most likely be scout Harding.
@@CoasterRPG I loved Scout Harding but I also wouldn't mind seeing Avexis expanded upon more I mean she had to have a bigger role eventually
"it might just not be Solas" - yes, this was already hinted in Trespasser and I suspect in concept art. The Elvhen Gods of old are going to be released.. I am betting that we will fight them but they will be giant monsters.. like a sea beast, and so on.
Bioware is The Ship of Theseus, it keep the name by commercial meaning
Interesting... DA: O was one of my favourites... introduced me to the cRPG genre that I've become obsessed with ever since. Dreadwolf was a cool name, but I am looking forward for whatever is in store. I understand that it may not be true to the original, but hopefully it will be worth checking out
I wonder if they will let us import our save file from the site we used for Dragon Age Inquisition, so that all the choices we made from the prior games get carried over to this one.
Bro you are trolling with these pronunciations, love you amazing content as always.
Thank you for the video, it gives me some hope!
Thanks for watching
The high pitched noise sounds better than the last video I watched, but it's still there :( lol
Welp, time to play through the whole series again.
Bioware still exists? Honestly, the best news for me would involve Obsidian or Larian taking over development. Let's hope this doesn't suck balls.
I love Dragon Age lore so I’m excited for the new channel era, keep up the good work 😇
i say only one thing, wait & see after 1 month later when it's launched ;)
I love all dragon age games, they all have the good and the bad but overall I always had a good time with them!
let's hope the gameplay reveal is looking good Lu! The recent trailer brought up some concerns lol
I cant wait for this, would love to see some of the old companions make cameos especially Varric & Sera
Sera 🤢
