Maybe the name ‘grub’ can be given to a kit when they see or think that this cat will have a great future , or it’s just a way of saying that this cat will live up to the name of his ancestors, meaning he will be a great warrior and possibly a leader, and it’s a tradition to always have a ‘Grub’ to bring good luck into the clan (soz if this isn’t written that well)
I came during the stream, and I’m a little late, but here’s some theories and things I noticed while I was there!
*Theories*
Penguinshine was taken away in the metal box that Little Lady saw, who saved her a few days later.
Galepaw could either be, a reincarnation of Snailtail, training in the DF, or was Snailtail’s kit before she died.

Poinsettia has a crush on both Ashpelt and Pythontoe.
Grubkit the third got a scar from a hawk just like her predecessor, Grubfreckle.
*Headcanon*
The prefix ‘Grub’ started with Grubpaw, who was killed, and another cat was named after her. After this Burrow Clan decided to have the prefix passed down for generations. The prefix could be given to cats who are believed will have a great future, or is a way of saying that the cat will live up to their ancestors. It’s a tradition in the clan to keep a cat with the prefix ‘Grub’ as it is thought to bring good fortune to the clan. *Or* Grubpaw the first told a living cat to “never forget them” or, “name a cat after her” so other cats could live with the name she couldn’t have, since she died so young. The name has been passed down ever since. It could be a way of another cat with the Grub prefix receiving a warrior name that Grubpaw the first could or might have gotten if she’d lived longer.

Gale’kit was originally from cinderclan who was sent to spy because cinderclan thought they were an reincarnation of snail’tail who made and alliance with them, trying to kill off the cats in burrow clan! (Also I love the new religion it’s absolutely hilarious that they MUST have a grub and it’s insane that they all almost die the same way)
WAIT WAIT WAIT theory here guys: what if Galepaw's actually related to Frondtail's former mate. Because since Galepaw looks like Snailtail they could have the same father (This is a *VERY* big big stretch here)

Oh! Poinsettia tells an ancestor story to the patrol. Replace that with my cat, yellowpelt (has a while pelt lol and no yellow eyes) and then guess who scolds yellowpelt. (ALSO the clanfounder-medicine cat, with highest exp) ITS THE REINCARNATION OF TIGERCLAW, TIGERDUSK!!!! GRRRRRR. he tells her to continue with her duties. But, he is cold, so.

"yeah, applekit is a good name" - PB. I play roblox warrior cats. Not wcue (ew terrible ew trash devs) Its lake territory, with the hundreds of herbs and lag and WEIRD characters, mega customization and the abandoned. There, i created i think 7 moons old apprentice named Applepaw, who was the embodiment of chaos and energy. I trolled everyone by clawing all of them, and then the leader accepted me epicly, saying "Oh, applepaw's just letting their energy out on their clanmates. Then, i got NO MENTOR. anyways, i became a good hunter and fightor. And, there was an antagonist rogue, named PINE!!!! Pine tried to kidnap a friend of my character, dapple(d)paw, and i literally chased Pine with they had dapple(d)paw carried. I attacked Pine then took dapple(d) back to the clan, and she (i think) got medical attention. "In my medical opinion, dapple(d)paw is fine." Then dappled did her own thing, and i also informed the leader. i got epic praise, and then became warrior. I was called Applehawk, hawk for in the info, saying that i was good both hunting&fighting. Then i continued saving the clan from the disturbing loners who are tryna steal the kithereens. then i had to "GTG GUYS BYÉ´´´´´´´´". end. tried the next day, failed. I just became shadowboy who tormented kitten.
Edit: The feeling of starclan ignoring a cat. welp, one of my cats asked tigerdusk why they think starclan ignores them. he replied with: "Shut up and be grateful that starclan isnt watching you. Its nice sometimes."
edit: on the note of wcue, before i knew the dev situation, i NEVER EVER played mate rps. It was just too much stress and i was in-experienced in goin loveydovey. If i ever did leader, people just yelled at me for drama, but i liked to keep it safe. I think im rather fit for medicine cat since i got lots of fantasy and know all of the herbs from the game and the laggy weird laketerritory from above, so. If i could play roblox, i would, but damn old windows 11 gotta ruin everything with background apps. edit for wcue: What the devs did is be racist, go against lgbtq community, and be toxic. i think. atleast.
