It most likely has never been serviced. The movement is pristine to say the least. No scratches or obvious signs it’s ever been worked on before. I’d say it was worn till it stopped keeping good time then thrown into a drawer. Very good work my friend. I do wish you would speak during the videos though. I hate having to read the commentary through the whole video.
Thank you for sharing this on UA-cam. I got the very same watch when I was 16 years old and still have it in beautiful condition, though the bezel has some marks. And since Moore is wearing his with a metal strap, I bought one to compliment my original sports one. Your strap is totally wrong, though: there should be large circles in it.
@@MagicWatchmaking It is strange to see that this watch has now been relaunched by Tissot after all these years. What I have always liked about it is the dial: it is so deeply colorful and - in my case - has no blemishes at all 😊. I am probably too afraid of water in general - 🤪.

Wow, that's actually crazy that you managed to find a new old stock case. I have a Seastar PR-516, the Roger Moore watch, no date manual wind etc that I'm going to restore soon. Bezel is very worn and stuck in place sadly.
Did you put that mainspring in the wrong way around at first? i notice (as it was on the one i serviced) to go anticlockwise but when you put the new spring in it was clockwise?? I watched it a few times but in the end my head was getting confused 😆
I would like to contribute something regarding the use of the English language. When you seek a part for a watch, or look for something specific, intentionally and for a purpose, you "source" that part or that thing. You then sourced a new stem for the watch.

What is the initial Water Resist?, is it screw down crown?
The watch has basic sealing and the crown is not screw down. No marks on the watch indicates water resistant what so ever.
Amazing work. You just gained a sub and a big like. If I may ask - how much would this cost in service?
A normal watch service without parts in EU will cost approximately 250 to 300 Euros. Other countries other prices.
