I love negra she’s smart for coming up with this podcast. Watching this interview reminded me of when I was a staff at a boys probation group home for 11 years. We had mini riots, assaults on staff, drug drop offs in front of the facility, female staff having relations with the boys, how they groom you and all that stuff. It felt like mini prison

Negra you are great with your interviews. I like the way you read the nurses mind . When she talked about working Arizona prisons. You'd be a professional with a little schooling on psychology or criminal behavior . The nurse is one of the best interviews as well

This is not my account. Its my Primo's and he allowed me to use it to watch this. I dont have a youtube. Im from Long Beach but i did time in the CDC/FBOP and then AzDOC (by then, Az used my priors in Ca and the Feds to raise my security level). Concentra was the medical provider for us in ASPC Tucson Complex Cimerron level IV. I remember the medical staff was the one that helped me with me managed type II diabetes. The one particilar nurse helped me with diet advice and such (i went from a needle and pills to just the pills because of her). Inmate commissary selection is so bad for diabetics. I still follow her advice to this day and excercise as much as i can as she suggested. She was probably a positive thing out of my 14 (combine) years doing time in three different prison systems. In four states.
Oh, ive been out since 2015. I always talk to my primo about how that nurse helped me with my health and better outlook in life. Inactually work foe my Primo as a auto glass tech since ive been out and back in SoCa.

I can relate. I love my job. Yes I wear make up and like to smell good. I do say good morning, good night to the inmates. Be respectful and they will too. Consistency and standing your ground is important as well. I encourage corrections nursing. It just not for everyone. Great interview!!

To be honest, alot of the inmates especially old school ones, they tend to wait for the female officers,medical, free staff to leave before they fight or pop off in any unit/yard

This broad once she got comfortable she began to slip and pretty much admit to focusing alil too much on one of the inmates or maybe more to the point to taking he’s medicine to see who came to visit him and then questioning him who it was and I’m pretty sure she said more but didn’t say it cause she knows she would never be a nurse in prison again ,and that’s why even the C/O’s were flirting with her too and I’m sure cause the c/o’s saw how friendly she was with some inmates so they seen that she was thirsty for some action at work ,you can tell she like the homies stylo she even got Aztec tattoos on her leg and even blasted a warrior shield on her leg 😂😂😂this is why I don’t like seing squares with tattoos cause it’s not just art is a way of life the ink for the majorty of people that have them it’s cause they put in work they sacrifice alot or more or all of their freedom and then imagine you see this square all tatted down and with the tattoos that you and everyone in prison that’s from your race had to earn and those people are watering down the things you got by putting a lot of work and losing their freedom ,like how this girl getting that shield on her leg cause it look pretty and not knowing what it actually means ,I’m sure she ain’t no warrior or put in work like the rest ,people need to be careful cause that can get them hurt or become a target and just cause nothing has happen for months or years it just takes one day where someone that is serious about their lifestyle and believes and just happens to feel like it’s the right time nobody is around that’s when thell take it ,it takes seconds to slip up ,so if you want to get tattoos that people in prison get by putting in work and being part of that lifestyle then go ahead disrespect their style ,all this people like the bad boy look full of tattoos ,and now even nerds homosexuals want to have the bad boy look without putting the work that’s like spitting and disrespecting their believes and style .it’s like when soldiers see other wear their uniform and their not even soldiers you see how they get upset cause they put in the work went to war got shot lost friends and then they come home and see this clowns trying to look just like them but will never enroll or go fight in a war cause their too scare but they think it’s ok to want to imitate them and have people look at them as if they really were soldiers enjoying the attention but when real soldiers bump into them look how they get crazy with them and want to even kill them ,it’s the same thing as getting tattoos if you are not part of that life then don’t try to look like something your not ,some mite want to make it look like an accident cause who wants to do time over square phonies trying to look like something their not ,and gangmembers are now forgetting those people who get this tattoos that they shouldn’t have cause a lot of this squares are getting them cause they see this clowns with them and if nobody does nothing about it then more people are gona get them ,so now they want to give examples so others can see how it’s not a game or just pretty art.be yourselfs people don’t try to be something your not .

I have that very same G shield on the front of my throat and as you mentioned, it certainly comes with the territory lots of pain, violence, and despair...10 yrs to be exact on them California level 3 and 4 180 yards and it most definitely has to be earned. You can’t politic tattoos. Some Mexica women like myself and others were born into a kalpulli raised in Southern California participate in danza and the tezcatlipoca and everything else and have never been to prison. Mexica / Aztec isn’t JUST FOR PRISON ! It’s an actual lifestyle outside prison. It’s our MEXICAN actual culture and identity. Not just prison politics bye get tf out of here w that.
