Water/poison/skillseal gold rathian works, since she has poison boost large and speed large synergises well and boosts water damage, all elemental damage boost large, mud throw, poison spit etc. Also, it's usually not worth getting an elemental damage stat above 10, so at that point, if you have the bingos you need, you can use stuff like crit boosts, quick genes, dancer, etc.
Next up, a super powerful lightning Aptonoth. Somebody needs to make this happen.

I just started playing this the other day :( I'm so excited to get cool monsters now and play with their genes! :)
Am I the only one who use only one or two monstie in a team and the others is just for level up and didn't use it all.
That was me all the way until I hit the Tower + Ruins of Redan. No need to worry about building monsties too much until late game.

That's what i did early in the game but when i started being high rank using 1 monstie for everything just isn't good enough anymore
kingzlayer Im now just using Deviljho and Kirin in late game and in tournaments also same. But pvp another different thing.
I pretty much exclusively use my skill-seal/burn Azure rathalos. He’s built for status infliction and takes advantage of salt in the wound. Though I’m also adding a little bit of healing with predatory and soothing song, as well as dragon aura and critical up L
For those who do not want to put another type of element in their fire monster ash kecha wacha has a skill seal attack calling firespit was very useful mainly against the fatalis when I used my silver rathalos
You Can skillseal elders. Skillseal literally cripples teostra

When you spam 3 water soak with your spiderboi but nothing happen. Yea right, back to damaging monsties instead using luck to skillseal elder.

@@aenderdepaulasilva8394 blocks all abilities, forcing the Monster/Monstie/Rider afflicted to it to use regular attacks or items.
Just some info: You cant get more than 1 type of bingo (as in you cant get 2x effect of fire bingo by lining fire twice.) So it is better to form different types of bingo at once.

I remember when I changed my Brute Tigrex's element to fire, without noticing it. Now I recognized it for the stripes that has changed color
I got a Seregios with if I remember correctly, fire galore, and it changed his color from yellow to a very dark orange

Hi, im fairly new to MHST and i have a question, are we able to farm for low rank materials after completing main story? for eg. low rank Brachydios materials etc? because i want to upgrade my “low rank” armor/weapon and all i encounter are high rank monsters.Are we still able to encounter “low rank” rare dens post game?
Yes you can. It's kinda just luck based. You can either get low rank and or high ranked. It's kind of annoying the way that its rng based because when you upgrade Molten Tigrex armor it requires High rank regular and Brute tigrex parts which are very annoying to farm. The only way to really efficiently farm high or low rank is put on a finding charm(rare den increase) and if you need low rank parts then stay away from high rank rare dens and vice versa

I got a brute tigrex that's a fire element. He's, so far, my heaviest hitter on the team and I'm wondering if building him as a sleeper with crit would be a good idea.
I hatched a brute tigrex with the fire element and its pattern is red not yellow...... I have a normal brute tigrex and I will make it a dragon element.

If you want to get a guaranteed egg of silver los you can go to the special quest that ask u to beat its ass (with the cool name called the lunar shadow if i still remember) and the egg is guaranteed to be silver los (gene wise you can just jam it with channeling like how this video teaches u :) )

they must and they prob have it thunder call is a must gene for lightning builds
With the rainbow gene that MHst2 have I try to get inspired by your builds, even if it will be at the begining which will be tricky.

I know I'm late on this but where do i get Salt In The Wounds and Dancer?
I don’t know about dancer, but salt in the wound can be found as a gene on the congas and learned (not transferable) by the Kecha Wachas
Salt in the wounds is also a gene skill on Deviljho and Dancer is a gene skill on jade Barroth and Deviljho too, surprisingly

So they do not stack? Cool! My question is, say Rathlos has dire abilities, but if I place an ice skill in one of the available slots, will my Rathlos suddenly have ice attack abilities in battle? If not, I should probably replace that useless skill for something else?
I made a pink rathian with the ice element and skill seal. Perfect for rajang and Kushala daora.

I did this to monoblos,the horns are a bit different than the blood red horn itself
i turned my black diablos into a fiery black diablos with red horns because i put spred frost breath fire res poison and fire attacks
I created a draconic brute tigrex flaming stygian zinogre and a frozen deviljho ;3

It should be possible to Skillseal Teostra if memory serves. Not sure about Fatalis though
Shamble Shef Only fatalis is immune to skill seal cause you know... "post game final boss" persona issue. (or maybe it just has negate skill seal gene idk apparently burning and poisoning it looks more appealing to me)

Are you using mobile? Get the japan version though you will lose all your monsties and progress, what i suggest is get all the things you want to do while high level and then go to the japan version and do it all over again

Meteor 17 yes. Red increases fire damage, yellow increases thunder, blue increases water, light blue increases ice, purple increases dragon, and silver/white/grey increases speed.

What would be your recommendations for each herbivore? (Apceros, Aptonoth, Popo) yeah they're bad but what would be the best builds for them for restrictive rule sets (Herbivores only, low rarities, etc)
@@nibwhipdragon I really don't know how to start with any of the monsties. Though I am curious about how to build a hit hard/survive everything kind of Herbivore team. I understand a bit about the genes but I don't know how to build them up I guess lol.

Do genes effect level up stats.
By this I mean if you get a level one then fill the gene slots and then level him to 50 will he have more stats then a monster who was leveled to 50 with 2 genes then had 7 genes put in.

Played this before deleted cause it keeps auto quiting when i do monstie combo or something its called the reason is i put about 4 deviljaw dragon power to my kushala so i can make the ice animation turned purple yeah bad idea but worth it
And yes i did this to the rest of my elders but it didnt quit the game when i do the monstie combo it just happened to my kushala

What is blastblight good for?
It is the gene?? If gene it will increase the chance of blastblight, it is an additional effect like burn or poison, the effect is, it will explode after several turn dealing 200 damage (i heard it is 3 turn but don't know). The monstie who specialize in blastblight is brachydios and molten tigrex
Uragaan is the best user of blastblight afaik (despite its derp rarity and stats) cause it can immediately detonates it. late game the blastblight power will diminish as most monsties damage will reach above 300 in pvp and 1k in pve (lvl 70+ wise that is) so 200 damage in 3 turns is just a meh except uragaan special skill that detonates it in an instant

How are you able to play genes on ever slot of the monstie?
use google to find answers. it is WAY more effective. this took seconds to find.
stimulants
theres rare universal stims that can be used on any monstie (including unclassified ones), but generally you need a stim of the same classification as the monstie (brute wyvern, elder dragon, fly wyvern, fanged beast etc)
post game these can be farmed from the tower of illusion (30-50, though the decent ones are 40-50) or with more rng by farming the labyrinth with a gathering charm
pre post game you're just stuck with what you find (they appear in blue chests) or the ones you get from quest rewards

Stalking NightWolf either you rage dig the rare dens like madman or u use stimulus (those that you can get from chests but apparently farmable post-game) to open all the gene slots
