I followed all your directions and the installation of my Touratech headlight guard was very easy on my 2020 BMW R1250 GSA HP thanks a lot. Cheers from Mexico.
I found using the original bolt was too difficult and not long enough. My printed instructions said to use only the washer so I used new, longer bolts that came with the lense. I think they changed their mind or had too many complaints so started to furnish all new bolts. I have the the GSA maybe that's a difference with the headlamp assembly but the lense and bracket is just fine.
I took out my 1250GS for a ride last night to see how the new Touratech headlight guard worked. On the whole I was pleased by what I saw. I didn’t experience any distracting reflections. The only observation I did have was that it cast 2 notable shadows towards the right side of the road. Not enough to reduce visibility nor distract me though. Thanks for asking the question. It was worth getting out and seeing how it worked on a night ride. Cheers.
Thanks for the question. I haven’t noticed any glare or reflection during night time riding with this headlight guard. Thanks for watching the video. Ride lots and ride safe.
Can anyone help me with the upper OEM screws size on the Cowl ( minute 4:10) I need to remove the Puig Headlight Guard on my 1250 GS and put back the OEM srcews and I can't find them. I know these were T24 flanged screws but I need to size ( M5? M6? and what length) if someone knows please.
For the life of me i cannot screw the screws into the rubber. Go halfway then any firce damages the plastic nuts! Bad design by touratech in my opinion no need to be that stiff!
They are getting better and better
Kyle Cornell Thanks for the feedback!

Thanks for the kind words and feedback.
Nice video pal! Thanks! Do you know if this item fits to the new 2021 BMW r 1250 gsa?
Thanks for the feedback. I believe it will still fit the 2021 models.
Own a 2014 R1200GS. Where do you find these headlight lens in the USA?
Any BMW motorad dealership should be able to find a replacement lens for you. Not many after market we can find.
Any problems with glare/reflection with that clear guard? I've read some people experience distracting reflections from these clear guards.
That's a good question. I will take the bike for a spin this evening and provide my observations. Cheers.

Any glare/reflection you feel at night after using and riding with it for 1 year. Heard mixed reviews but your opinion matters a lot. Thanks!
