This was before Damia joined me for the editing. Some of these old videos are very obscure. I needed normalize them 😂 there are a few that never saw the light of day because they went off the deep end. Glad you liked it 👍🏻

Very nice .....un42ntly i never had th advantage pre-internet era of a mentor that really cared for shar8ng th joys of artistic fabrication .... Only had bosses that wanted a bench - grinding -slave..... Such a pity coz i wldv been a master-smith by now.... But thanks to yours an many other tuts. I am now, albeit very late, finding th instruction i alwas needed from pll like u that care , not just for th kraft, but th soul behind th dreamer aswell..... ... Don't stop, keep it up.... That is so inspiring! May I ask what thickness you used for the gallery and what gage for the center cushion piece?
Ooh. I’ll have to guess it was around 0.8mn for the gallery and 1.2mm for the top. I think around there if I recall correctly. Also, thanks for that. I’m glad the channel is an inspiration 😊

I have an engagement ring, I don’t like the setting style. I’m watching videos to see if they can take out the diamonds and melt down the metal(10k white gold) and create a compete new ring. I’ve been married 8 years and my husband finally agreed my ring doesn’t fit my personality so either I buy a new one or customise my current ring. I wonder how much of a price difference it would be.

Just out the gate I would recommend it. Then find yourself a goldsmith who can handle the style of ring you are after. Have a look at their social media to make sure the they are up to the task. Be critical. This is a very personal object worn daily and it needs to be perfect. We charge according to our experience and skill levels. Don’t be afraid to ask for estimates. We are a happy bunch overall and there to help. You will find that the whole process becomes clearer the more you find out about it. Jose, I would have a look around in your local area. Diamond dealers are in plentiful supply here in the UK. Just have a chat with your tool suppliers and I’m sure they will have the contacts 👌🏻

I wish I could 😂 but I live in a bubble where someone else deals with the money. It’s a very fine ecosystem where, when I’m not involved in the estimates, everything works out. I couldn’t tell you. I know the customer liked it 👍🏻 but that’s about it.
