The traffic is beyond terrible, and complete chaos because of next to no traffic lights. There are just neighborhood men,(I called them freelance traffic conductors) standing in the middle of busy intersections, directing traffic and you must tip them to get thru faster. 5 times a day, starting at 4am ,every mosque (which is every block or 2) turns up the most terrible sound system to 10 and sings the call of prayer at the top of their lungs for 10-20 minutes. It’s the most ominous sound you’ve heard, the whole city vibrates…It literally sounds like the part in a horror suspense movie where you are expecting something really bad to happen any moment, very tense. Thank you for this honest reaction video about Jakarta 👍 really needed this to give our Jakarta government a good perspective about what foreigners think about the city 👏👏
Can you see poverty in Jakarta the way you see it in Manila, Philippines with many kids begging for money on the street?
I stepped in the bus and they order me to sit behind, cause in front is for the women. I was really surprised! But one think i like, the people are so friendly and helpful. I love it! And you don't have to worry about being cheated with money.

the #1 annoying me as jakarta citizen was sound of mosque atau suara TOA masjit
💯💯💯
Do not come to muslim majority country if you cannot tolerate the azan. As simple as that.
@@NN-gk2sm He is a Jakarta citizen. And MANY of those mosque sounds are anoying. Many of them used the toa inappropriately. Stop being stupid, u made the country looks stupid. Learn to take criticism.
i agree on the money Indonesia needs to step up its game
All is living in Jakarta.. Why it is annoying place? if it is annoying.. The Cat Bugs Birds did not live there.. Indonesia is most diverse place on earth. Means all living things on earth live there.. like Philippines.. I'm from Philippines
Wow I didn't know that about the electricity. Nice video.
No problem, maybe he living on apartment and just pay the rent
candor on point bruh
Jakarta needs to move its millions of people to other islands like Sumatra or Borneo to be able to cope with its already congested and unsustainable infrastructure like the transport system, sewage and rubbish collection. Jakarta is sinking and stinking!! The govt is now taking action to move its capital Jakarta to Kalimantan Borneo island..
jakarta is similar to bangladesh 🇲🇨🇧🇩
that's right
Im from indonesia i love bangladesh
I'm in Jakarta now I would say what he is saying would all depend on were you are staying
Are the cockatoos okay?
if you want to live in a third world country, you have to know the trick or you will be in trouble, if you already know the trick like a local you will feel at home, I experienced it
I don't like the loud praying on loud speakers. That's really annoying. Praying should be a private affair.
Jakarta river is NO OR LESS TRASH nowdays
You sound like a positive little bundle of joy.
So why are you there in that hell hole???
Gotta admit that Jakarta is considerably filthy n disorganised. The traffic is quite bad ...but the people are amazingly nice n humble
These are true .... unless you are a deep pocket tourist
Number 7 i agree
Population is the problem in Indonesia. The country need another 100 years to properly develop and sustain normality.
The should have settled Australia long time ago before British did. This"s their biggest mistake for not doing so
250 million stray cats?!
Sir you can upgrade ur electricity
The poor birds and cats
Sounds dastardly.
