I had bought 10.5 inches special grinded skillet. After 4 years of regular use still getting iron smell after each use, even without cooking any sour food items. Also contacted the owner and did all suggested by them, like boiling tamarind in it and all still no use. Every time u get rusty smell from it. It's just an iron skillet and not cast iron skillet. Very disappointed 😞. I Have other cast iron khadai, kulzipannayaram pot(bought from chennai) they are all good. No such issues. I think their proportion of clay and iron used for casting varies hence the smell. Don't buy grinded items here because it doesn't get seasoned at all for lifetime😢... waste of money..
