This is awesome. Hearing from an actual grader helps make sense of the thoughts behind a grade. Fake, real or oops. Great stuff! CSG doing great things. Making all the right moves. Great video. Keep up the great work!
Could you provide in the description the loupe specifications that he recommended during the video? I couldn't quite make out some of what he was saying. Thanks.
great vid he def has a passion for spotting fakes and trimmed cards csg doin a pretty good job wit fakes I heard they had one get by thats known not bad
@@masterbob100 red flag? You think letting people stand in front of my table and examine my ultra modern cards with a loupe for an extended period of time is a good business idea? I’d literally laugh in your face if you pulled out a loupe to examine a 2019 card lol
Collectors (lol investors) today are too busy looking for “comps” on their phones so obviously it would never occur to them to unsleeve a prospective card and closely examine it using a rudimentary magnifying device of some kind.
Not to hijack your video but is it ok to do this to cards? I've seen a lot of your fakes and trimmed card videos and was wonder if what he does to the corners is frown upon? it's in the 2nd half of the video ua-cam.com/video/Oiydpkvs0eE/v-deo.html thanks!
What was 1 thing you learned from the video? Leave a reply down below
I learned that the other dude owns a flying carpet.
Great video
Thanks
They need to make it a felony to make fake cards and prosecute them

Yup wanted to have Andy on for a while glad we linked up

He said look for a 10x triplet. I’m going to get one as well when I get the chance
I have a bout five cards I would love for you to take a look at a 53 Mickey Mantle Roberto Clemente Wilt Chamberlain Oscar Bob Gibson etc. etc.
When andy grades cards for work what magnification is used during the grading process?
Andy mentions 10x towards the end of the video.
Great interview with Andy! I’m a fan of CSG. Cheers!
Thank you!

One thing that I learned is,...... The graders are working with 10 times magnification for card grading.
I had no idea the magnification used
Csg is on the move ,csg is my go to grader
Great information from an actual grader!! Thanks for sharing this!
I don’t deal with vintage at all but no chance I’d let someone stand in front of my table inspecting cards with a loupe
Red flag

@@LaTortugaCards I was thinking you were talking about vintage. I would laugh too if it was a modern card.
@@masterbob100 I hate scamming and fake cards so sorry if I came off as rude at first.
Why are you that insecure
Make that dude quit wobbling lol
Ryan great stuff as always my friend.
Thank you
Great video! Great content.

Bring some commons with you and compare size!
Awesome as always sir. Very much appreciate this info. #Peace ✌️
Thanks Brian
Ask em if he graded the recent 2.5 CSG 52 Topps Mays. My lord, it's bad.
Great video Ryan. I learned that I am glad I don’t collect modern cards. I’ll stick to vintage and my plastic coins!
Fantasy cards, I will not buy unless I want an image for TTM. No sense in supporting people with out authority to print MLB logos.
Nope, no logos are fine with panini baseball though they have players signed
Pretty disrespectful when Ryan kept looking over at his computer instead of giving the guy full attention.
Hey John, my camera and screen are in two different spots. I have to look at both to have a conversation

That's a very good question. I hope that many viewers could give their opinions.
He’s altering cards. Almost as bad as trimming…
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Thanks
