- Tricia and William Creasy are both teachers at the same school. They fell in love, got married and afterwards bought a fixer upper house with plans of turning it into their dream home.
One day Tricia started experiencing stomach pains and doctors told her that she has colon cancer. Problems soon developed in her house with cracked foundation, walls and floors lacking insulation, roof sagging and water damage and mold all over the house.
Ty and the design team must build a safe and secure home for the family to live in.

I am so happy you helped this family. She lived 2 more years from this time, and you gave this family such a wonderful gift of hope, love, and a beautiful home. You made it so this family had more quality time together, with a vacation of life time, while you built this beautiful home. She died 2 years from making their dreams come true. It has now been over 11 years she passed, and I hope and pray this family is doing well.
This show gave hope to so many people who didn’t have any hope left. It’s so sad that since this show went off the air, no one gets the help they desperately need to the extent provided by Home Makeover Extreme Edition. As the future looks so bleak, we need this show, and Ty and team, to restore our faith in humanity and bring hope back.
Then you need to have Byron Allen to purchase the American Broadcasting Company, and not have Disney own ABC and this is the truth.

So utterly sad that Tricia lost her battle to cancer. After almost 12 years, I hope her memory brings her family comfort.

I’ve been sad lately & yes feeling a bit sorry for myself, but watching this brave Mother, Wife & Teacher not let her situation bring her down has made me realize that I need to be more like her. It was very uplifting.
I want to say a Big Thank You to ABC and Extreme Home Makeover for everything you do for families that need anything that they ask for. I want to say Thank God for putting his healing hands on all families that have any type of cancer weather the people are still here on this planet earth 🌍 or have gone on to be with the LORD.

How many of these shows are because someone in the family has illness and they are being killed by the medical bills. Makes me glad I live where I live cause I know I will get the treatment needed and not be bankrupted by a medical bill.
I am 72 years old. For as long as I can remember, people, corporations and charitable entities have been raising money for research to cure cancer. These accumulated funds have to run in the billions, yet still there is no cure. I believe that a cure will not be found until a new disease overtakes cancer. That new disease will end the lives of even more people than cancer did. And then money will have to be raised to find a cure for that new disease. And so the cycle continues.

I love how the Extreme Team never meets a stranger. The love that they show it's truly uplifting. The need was great for this family. By coming together you all were able to help meet it. Teamwork does make the dreamwork and come true. 🥲💜
