This is my hometown..I'm proud to have called Charlotte NC my hometown since birth in 1988..we really do take care of our own and neighbors if we can..
I just want to Thank you! Ty and your crew, but watching you for a long time, even when you had your show by yourself what a blessing, as a mother I have been watching you when you had your own show, I cry when I see this, as a single mother from a family of 9, there are only 6 left, I cry. Everyone is grow now up now, I cry when I see your show,but my dream has been to purchase at 3 or 5 acres of land, and build 7 homes for my families to live, I do not want anyone to be homeless with no where to live. Beautiful! But I know God will make away, keep doing it Ty and your crew staff, BeBless!
This is by far my favorite episode. Y’all are angels sent from God if their were more people like this, this world would be a better place. And for Ty nd crew to bless this family and community is amazing❤️

My favorite part of the show are the designers ask the kids what they like & modeled the bedrooms around their interests.
I actually don’t like that they modeled rooms based off of interests and hobbies and such cause those things change over time. Like a kid isn’t always gonna want a cartooned theme room or whatever.
@@airyowo agreed. I love kids rooms having themes, but at least the staple pieces like furniture etc should be able to grow with them, both in interests and size. Some rooms on the shows could not be easily changed at all. The teen rooms are usually best because they could be much easier changed
Tye is truly a great host and leader. He delivers the humor so well, really spontaneous is the view on my end.

Greetings from Cambodia. I helped with the Keiki o ka 'Āina home and school build in Hawai'i in 2007 and love watching these programs. I can't believe how much the lady they spoke with wearing the light blue blouse looks like my aunt who struggled with being a single mother before she was murdered by her second husband. I'm so glad to see this family and the families they serve getting this tremendous gift of a makeover.

What a beautiful family. Well done Ty another great story. So many sayings are done to death but "pay it forward " is a keeper!! I do hope this loving family are still, in their dream home, that their son is doing well at university or college . That young Einstein is inventing and having fun. That the daycare centre is still doing well. It would be great to see some followup stories when Covid is under control, even though I believe the show isnt running now. Happy 2021 everyone.

I'm so happy that you've helped this beautiful and amazing family that can help pay it forward for generations to come and to help the son to be a more influenced role model for the kids who might wanna turn and wanna be just hanging around on the streets but because they have been growing up watching him and seeing him get the next step in education and getting that diploma will help them try and get that and hopefully scholarships to universities

Rick you moved your briskness and still help out on extreme maker and you do it with soul with love. It’s such a shame this show could not carry on because they did so much good. Yes one or two took advantage but that’s the few bad ruining it for the good

Why does the washer over flow? I have never had that happen or seen it. My favorites of the crew are Paul, Ed, Michael, Paige, and of course Ty!!!
Washers break in all kinds of ways. I have been in several situations where that has happened
I hauled the last load off that pad2 they gave us2 hrs to tear it down and haul it off and 30 minutes to grade the pad.

So does the family know when they are going to come? I mean I assume they dont however how do they know when the whole family in these will be home? Maybe they come at a time like family day
My heart goes out to them I hope everything is okay when I went to look up their company I noticed that before they was able to operate in the state could care less about them operating an in-home daycare but soon as they got this house all of a sudden they started to scrutinize everything they did cuz ultimately they wanted to steal this house away from them and resell it so big developers can come and take all the other houses around it and gentrify the place.
This is why I stopped watching the show when I notice that it didn't matter what color it was all about tax bracket and the fact that they set these people up for failure and expose them to people who wanted to take these beautiful crafted homes and be exploited and used to perpetuate this new neighborhood
