It's just a play on words and you could rewrite the topic of the sketch to be about anyone or anything and still carry on with the same character. It was a funny sketch that you let political views taint. They didn't do that, you did.

The NYT had an interview with the producer (?)(/ current 'top guy') on SNL about how they are doing the show, the precautions they are all taking, how each set is being managed & controlled. It's as meticulously controlled as the WH _should_ be.
It must be fun to actually get to do something that feels 'normal' in the midst of everything that is happening _and_ everything abnormal they are doing to create something 'normal' - AND make it comedy.

The one thing I worried about is they almost forgot & got lax with the props... (i.e. the blood-pressure cuff & nearly putting the pipe from her mouth into his, but caught it). Probably missing contact with people (as I know I have... a single person, living alone with my pet).
