just amazing! seeing a soulcalibur player as passionate as you gives me hope for the future of this game which deserves much more attention. I have been following you for a long time and I thank you for your work!
14 minutes of multiple layers, animations, transitions, and other visual effects is a lot of weight to take in mind, haha! But I'm glad you guys did it. I'm sure you had a lot of fun along the way, but nothing beats the end result as the way you want it to be being the most satisfying part of editing.
An epic story of a great hero for good, who succeeds to master his own integrity and identity. I like him 😄👍 Next : HWANG Story & Lore Analysis from SoulCalibur 1 to SoulCalibur 6 ? 🤩
Beautiful video, i dont normally care for lore for the game but you delivered it in a way that was very satisfying to watch. Wanted to ask were does Xiba come into this? Isnt he Kiliks son or something?
Hey thanks Andy! Kilik leaves Xianghua one night, when he decides that he can't have an ordinary life with her, he lets the shard of DvaparaYuga as a gift, but he probably don't know that she is pregnant. Xianghua had to give the baby to her father ((the drunked master that teaches some stuff to Mina, I don't remember his name) very early to be able to remarry to a general and remake his life. She still visits Xiba time to time but he don't know neither his mother, nor his father I should probably have talked about this, but the video was long, and basically in the point of view of Kilik, he leavers Xianghua but is unaware that he has a child
Well, HayateEIN, this is a very well-done and intriguing video you have made about Kilik and how he chose his path to redemption. I totally concur with you in terms of him being a parallel to Siegfried who may have been similar to him but ended up feeling more isolated. While I can only tolerate the relationship between Kilik and Xianghua, I do have concern with how long are they going to last in a romantic relationship. It is doubtless that she has seen the best, the worst, and the ugly sides of Kilik. However, I contend that Siegfried would do all of that and more both as an individual and as Kilik's romantic partner. The prospect of Siegfried and Kilik being a gay couple could function and, therefore, emit the best out of both of these warriors. Siegfried was also on that terrible path and chose to cut ties in order to find his own redemption. Nevertheless, Kilik, with his compassion, warmth, and willingness to put others before himself, will be sufficiently intrepid to challenge Siegfried's every notion of himself. That feeling of challenge would not only give Kilik a chance to delve into the unknown and come out alive and well, but it would also remind Siegfried that he is never alone and has someone who truly understands him warts and all. Therefore, the sense of trust, allegiance, and compassion they would have for each other transcends any healthy relationship. Siegfried's and Kilik's unconditional love and boundless loyalty would be based on trust and compassion and how much they are willing to be there for each other through thick and thin. As for Xianghua, it is not her style to play the jealous third wheel as she deserves all the freedom, joy, and fortune in the world. She may have loved Kilik, but I know that she will let him go and make his own path, yet she will still be on friendly terms with him. The world would love to make Siegfried's and Kilik's lives as miserable as possible. The world could conspire to bring Siegfried and Kilik down to their knees and fill them with pain, agony, suffering, and torment. However, Siegfried and Kilik would be the couple who are strong enough to not let that occur. Just like phoenixes, they will rise and show this cruel, ruthless world that they are not only inseparable, but they can take anything it can offer and do it in stride. Their relationship may not also be perfect, but they will always support each other no matter what circumstances shall come their way.
Personally, I consider SCV to no longer be canon (in a sense), since the time traveling in SCVI will likely change the course of destiny. I am hoping that Kilik and Xianghua can end up together and happy. :)
@@apocatadys8293 I have a completely opposite opinion. I feel they have a tragic love story. Kilik cannot being himself to love Xianghua because it is almost like a betrayal to Xianglian (even in death). I see it like Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon where both have a love that is deep and profound, yet neither expresses it. It’s a very Chinese thing to do LOL. That is why I wish them only pure happiness together. I always felt that SCV was like a post apocalyptic SoulCalibur - Kilik and Xianghua were never united, Yoshimitsu was killed, and basically anything bad that could happen - DID. Like Sophitia dying, Cassandra getting lost in Astral Chaos failing to save her sister, and Pyrrha being stolen away as a babe by Tira. Even Raphael becoming a malfested vampire isn’t what Amy wanted for him… This is one of the many reasons why I hated / disliked SCV. In my opinion, I’m happy if SCV becomes uncanonized by the time traveling effects introduced in SCVI. But of course… everyone can have their own opinion. Their own likes and dislikes. This is just my point of view!
@@YoshiCookie yes but they actually had to make Xiba so, that's the only weird thing. So they actually expressed and made love. Does Kilik was unware of the consequence, or did he accepted to let something from him to Xianghua?
@@HayateEIN I believe (I may be wrong) that Kilik actually left Xianghua without telling her. He never knew she got pregnant or that he had a son with her.
@@YoshiCookie It is somehow of a complicated topic. I respect your opinion and i'm of no autority to tell you that you're wrong but i can't say that i agree. The "love" Kilik has for Xianghua is kind of a messed up one. He is attracted to a girl that remind him of his dead "sister". I don't have (i think) to elaborate to say why it's wrong for him and for Xianghua (who's the one that suffer the most as a character especially from SC3). The "neither expresses it" from crouching tiger hidden dragon is not a very good analogy, in both SC3 and SCIV the two characters confessed to one another so i'm don't really see a poetic and silent love there. But i get it, i know where you're coming from and the setting of a fighting game can propose this kind of (good) interpretation. And to see SCV as an post apocalyptic one is also a difficult take to have, Siegfried has defeated Nightmare and found his way, like ivy and maxi. A new and hopeful generation emerges etc. Everything you quoted is in dependant of a context. Except for the tragedy of the Alexandra family, Yoshimitsu chose his fate to pass the torch to a new one, Pyrrah was already stolen in SCIII, same with raphael. I gave my opinion on all of the series on thoses subjects and especially SCV, but they're in french...so...maybe i'll have to redo them in english...time will tell.
No problem. Thank you, both. If there’s ever any questions on something related to China / Chinese, please let me know. Again, thank for both for the collaboration. Great work! And would definitely love to see more down the road!!! :)
Incredible video!

Hey thanks a lot for the kind words
How to beat a heavily armoured beast:
Kilik: "haha stick"
You transcended everything I wrote. Very well done.
You should do one for Grøh, as well as one for Siegfried/Nightmare next!!! I enjoyed the heck out of this Kilik video!!! 😈👍🏻❤️
Nice work teacher 😍👏🏻👏🏻
My prince deserve this 😊
You guys made a very high quality presentation. Congrats to both of you! Your editing is amazing as always.
Thanks you @shiroTsuki , that was again a lot of work, but I learned some new stuff in the process so it's always worth it!
Thank you, Hayate really did the heavy lifting here with his editing skill. I hope we will propose more content with this quality or even better.

Thanks Tadlos! Hwang's story would be a lot shorter but I will see what we can do maybe

I kind of don't personally, because their love seems really unhealthy but it might be just me ^^`.

It’s actually fenghuang; not fenghua.
凤凰(鳳凰)fènghuáng:(Chinese) Phoenix.
Yes, it is a mistake in prononciation, it's our fault. It'll be corrected in subtitles.
Thanks I will correct at least the subtitles
