That is the double edge of love. The more you have, the longer it endures, the more brutal the loss will be. From the video it looks like they had 50-60 years together, so I can understand how she feels completely hollow now. Yeah we should live for ourselves, but I imagine 50 years deep they've taken up many little spots in your heart and it will feel like its deflating upon the loss. Still, I'd rather miss a 60 year relationship than having spent 60 years without any relationship (platonic or otherwise)
I knew you would love this one. The video gets kinda tough, especially if you've been there, but it fits the song so well.

This song makes me sad. Cos when it's only one person fighting for a relationship, it sadly never works out no matter how much you love them. And as you eluded to, there are ups and downs, but it's those "ups" that make it so worth fighting for. no matter what the "downs" Look like. 😢

Awesome reaction as usual..All that Remains used to be a good band but evolved into amplified country music so i stopped listening to them. this is a perfect example of that.

@@panteraskull I'd also like to suggest listening to their latest album from 2018 titled, 'Victim of the New Disease'. It was seen as a return to form of sorts and a definite step into the right direction. It wasn't flawless and the band were definitely still trying to shake off their softer sound, but it definitely has a handful of songs on it that might get added to an older ATR fans playlist.
This buttrock side of them is absolute trash compared to the gold they churned out in their early peak metalcore years.
You've already heard Two Weeks (that too, the weaker one - the video version in which they cut out the first half of the solo), time to listen to the album before that one - The Fall Of Ideals. It's a treat from start to end
