That Tiffany mini is so perfect! Absolute perfection! Rhodium plating should prevent tarnishing, but it wears off over time and may need to be replated. If you have anything in white gold, it is rhodium over yellow gold. Your mum must be very grateful you convinced her to buy the larger one. It is splendiferous. And my favorite.
Looove the Tiffany baguettes - in both sizes. Also, would not worry about the silver tarnishing too much. Silver ages over time and I think a little darkening gives it character and also proves it's genuine silver ...
