Oasis at the absolute peak of their powers. Liam’s voice overpowers the band. Strings, Alan’s expert drumming, Noel’s blistering, amped up guitar, are all underneath Liam’a voice, holding onto it. Raw and real and never bettered after this.
One of the greatest rock bands of the '90's? How about one of the greatest rock bands ever! That was an outstanding performance! What a great guy to go walk down through the crowd like that. Liam you are a true people's champion!
Omggg FINALLY I found a version of Liam singing octopus garden. I’m SOO HAPPY I’ve been looking for a version of them FORVEVER AHHHHH I LOVE THIS SO MUCH
I was back stage at both of these Earls Court gigs, I remember going to watch Utd play Arsenal at Highbury then straight after we went to Earls court & saw them come in on mopeds. Legendary gig, we all went to Brown's after the back stage shenanigans. Top nights as it was my mates birthday as well on the 5th of November. Regards, Dave the Rave, Wythenshawe Red
@@pol1315 Thanks mate, I was watching the Oasis documentary Supersonic the other day & its so spot on regarding how within a time frame of a month the VIP ,Backstage situation became a lock down, Loch Lomond both days backstage pass compared to the Knebworth gigs when I was lucky to get a Pit 2 pass but people that actually helped on the debuting 2 albums had a hard time. Glastonbury 94 & 95 were quality but in 95 I was gutted I missed The Prodigy who were on at the NME stage at the same time. I also missed Johnny Cash in 94 which is 1 of my biggest mistakes. Take care mate. Regards, Raver

I think the Beatles would have approved of this masterpiece ,especially the ending.
Sorry, I meant the ending of Whatever.
John Lennon would have approved Oasis.
What a beatles song in whatever ending ?

This performance of Whatever is crack cocaine. Trust me on this.
It was cool to see him look at the Chief to see if it was time to put that bit in.😂
The MTV version from 94 has him singing it too

Pure oasis gold. Liam at his best . Liam goes walk about pure brilliance
I love watching Oasis doing Beatle songs. No one else can sing them like Liam. Wish Oasis recorded more Beatles songs. Would've been so cool!
I saw Noel at the Chicago Theater years ago and he was closing with All You Need is Love on that tour. Goosebumps and tears, it was biblical.
@@jasonshirley7124 Oh man, that sounds fantastic. I wish Noel would come out to Australia. I feel like I am missing out big time.
Entèrement d'accord, c'est magnifique !!!

John Lennon would have loved Oasis version of I Am The Walrus.
Hell yeah
Needs the solos
Did you hear the little piss take of Damon Alban's gorillaz on harmonica? Pure genius, that only oasis could pull off .😂
Sounds a lot like "Miss You" by The Rolling Stones

I don't think it is, seeing as Gorillaz didn't exist until 2002, 3...

Liam is definitely John and Noel is Paul . Noel is the better guitar player and Liam is John Lennon
And I am of opinion that Lennon was greatest of them all . RIP dude
what does noel sing at the end of whatever?
all the young dudes but changed to all the young blues
