Amazing experience, first 5 sets, lots of lesson to learn this past 2 weeks to say the least. João is an amazing player to watch. Will get to the top very soon and his debut at AO was a statement. Bravo João!
I think it is better for both Sinner and Alcaraz to have other talented player on tour! they challenge each others and they play their best tennis when they play againt each others. so it is a good thing for Sinner fans ( like me) and for tennis in general
@@t1328 ..and top 1 within two years. He's even a bigger talent than Alcaraz(and 3.5 years younger on top of that). Best thing that ever happened to tennis imo.
@@t1328top40 within a year, stats of big3 and Sinner, Alcaraz prove me right. Top 10, at least 2 years, but he has to develop his legs because his real issue is the very slow foot work... And ofc his endurance, he lost all the matches he played if the duration was over 2.5hours. basically he cannot go far in any 1000 or slam for now, so top10 is statistically out of the picture here for at least 2 years
@@snickaren111top1? Ahah maybe never, who knows. Only 29 people on earth became in 40 years n.1, honestly it's really not predictable if he can become a champion. N.1 is for multiple slam champions, it's not possible to predict it for Fonseca. In my opinion stats don't lie, he can be in top40 in 2 years time. This year he'll lose and learn a lot, next year he can attack top40 and so on. You clearly show you don't know tennis mate

It's quite frustrating to listen to the AO interviews with headphones due to the audio setup-questions on the right channel and answers on the left. Could you please make it stereo for a more balanced listening experience?
This guy had a fantastic Junior career, win USO, and Davis Junior Cup and a lot of other tournaments, the end of the last year until yesterday 14-straight wins… wow looks to me like the new Alcaraz, premature talent!!
@@Will-v9d yes, Sonego once lost from Joao in one match before AO, and seems like that boost his energy to retake the win, on the other hand Joao seemed nervous in the second and third but healed on the forth and fifth, but maybe the endurance still on Sonego side, and Joao almost lost his power and his amazing forehand was weaken in the fifth, I am pretty sure Joao will become the big three at least in 2026
Sonego's delayed GRUNTS are criminal. Also used 25 seconds to serve EVERY TIME! That's the truth behind the alleged "experience" that he has. Shot varations is normal in tennis! Hard is to play hindrance all the time and have to wait 25 seconds until the next point.
He dominated against top 10 Rublev, and then lost to Sonego If that’s not choking big time, then what is ? Fonseca lost the mental game, which is why he lost
@ and it’s pretty normal for a 18 year old boy, one time won sonego, another time lost to him… absolutely comprehensive for someone who is still paving his path, so you’re being unfair. Let’s not forget the great match Sonego played, he managed to stop Fonseca's forehand, and with absolutely technique won the match. Also, he already won Djokovic!

Why do you need to preface that you're a fan of another random player before saying you like him? What's the point of that?

As charming as a young Guga. Love Brazil and this humble kid!
Obrigado 🙏🫶 João has a bright future ahead. Thank you.
Alcarez fan here. And this was only my time watching Joao play
No doubt the talent is there and future will be bright!
He has been baptised by tennis demi-God Rafael Nadal when he was a toddler - it is in his destiny to do well.
João is an amazing kid. So young and so mature as the same time 🇧🇷❤️
You are doing great. This is such a good learning experience. Keep learning and getting more matches. Your game is incredible 👏
Just very good boy. Pure Talent. Keep going.
Vamos João! Veio de uma sequência avassaladora, furou o quali, fez uma estréia fenomenal, e caiu de pé! Vamos em frente.
It's part of the learning process, let's move on!
Looks like another BIG 3 is about to rise for the next years ahead…. Many thanks João for your progression and personality! The Sport needs this!!
People have to be patient with 🇧🇷🎾 Joao. He needs time to gain experience & confidence.
How hard can it be for you guys to not make this audio mono? Unbelievable
The audio is fine with me
Fonseca will be better for this experience.
I reckon he will be in the top 10 within a year. He’s super impressive.
