It is HIGHLY scented but it is the ONLY cleanser I've ever tried in my 55 years that doesn't burn my eyes and truly cleans but doesn't strip my skin...I try many others that are less expensive cereve etc and none of them compare.

@@chellecopley67 have you ever tried the Glamglow Gentlebubble cleanser? Random, I know, but it’s a gentle fragrance free foaming cleanser that is actually really good
I have dry, sensitive skin and this has actually become my new favorite foundation. I do hate that it is scented. The first day I wore it, my skin tingled/itched for a few hours and I was sure I was going to break out. However, it did not break me out and I haven’t had the tingling/itchiness again. What I love about it is that it gives me a natural finish, it lasts all day, it doesn’t transfer and I found a great shade match. I apply it with my fingers and I do not use a primer. I do agree with you about the packaging though, it really gives me drugstore vibes. But the pump is really awesome for getting the exact amount of product out that you want. Anyway, I’ve really been loving it (besides the scent). I’m so sorry you had such a horrible experience with the foundation, though!
This is my favorite foundation! Feels like nothing on my face and I prep with the Bobbi brown vitamin enrich face base. It literally leaves me skin so smooth when I take it off! I have combination skin and it lasts all day and gives me a blurred finish.
I believe this foundation is more for mature and normal skin. Gives a nice soft glow and the scent doesn't last long. Did not oxidize and lasted all day. Looked natural and I am thinking of purchasing but will wear it again before purchasing
I’m sorry you had a reaction. I really wish fragrance was not added to the foundation, but I feel Lancôme puts heavy fragrance in everything. But on that note this foundation has become one of my new favorites. I have extremely dry skin and I tend to get dehydrated too, but the finish and color are perfect for me. I only add a little blurring primer to my forehead because I am 50 in a few months and I have some light lines in my forehead I am overly conscious of. Like you said Mallory, everyone had different skin and it might work for some. Get better soon!
I've also been recommended Lancome foundations, but avoided them because of the strong scent.. As someone who's also prone to allergic reactions, I appreciate you taking one for the MalPal team 💛 I hope your skin heals quickly!
Hey again 👋🏻 I also have autoimmune problems and also get really horrible dry patches.. just had a flare up on my eyelids, neck and nasolabial area a couple weeks ago. I tried the Biossance eye cream and hydrating serum duo (“seas the day” duo I think it’s called), and yo… I am so in love.
I'm loving your curls! Beautiful mushroom blonde curls. I'm intrigued by this foundation. I have combo skin, sometimes more oily sometimes drier. I have found using foundations for dry skin works okay for me with setting it down but I rarely enjoy products for oily skin. I love me some glow though.
No thank you, I’m not going to try it. Love your hair 🥰 I really appreciate the fact about you mentioning primers and mid + range foundations. Thank you so much for sharing your opinion and showing how it really looks. 💖
Oh boy… I’m just finding this and trying out this foundation a year later, but this actually makes me feel a bit better. I had the exact same reaction today using this. Like you, I have dry skin, sensitive with rosacea. I’m also 43 so probably a good bit older than you, and I was SHOCKED at my experience with this foundation. I cannot for the life of me understand why it’s called glow at all, and marked to mature skin??? Why?!?! If anything, this is mattifying, and I live in the South so it’s not like I’m dealing with extreme dry environment. I agree with everything you said here: fragrance is out of control, patchiness that I NEVER have, itchiness, and a a tightness to my skin that I can’t explain. I was contemplating giving it a second try tomorrow with a different sunscreen underneath but hearing about your reaction later makes me think it’s just not worth sticking with it. Legit, my L’Oréal serum foundation is better.
I have had rashes like that. They are uncomfortable. I have a lot of allergies and fragrance doesn't always bother me but when it does it is bad. Hope your skin is better now.💜
This happened to me. The foundation applied beautifully (notwithstanding that horrible strong fragrance) but then while out, my face started to burn. By the time I got home and washed my face, it was painfully red. Next day it was flaking off with deep red pimples all over. I am 43, love the original Teint Idole foundation but this was a nightmare.
Ahhhh I’m so sad it didn’t work out for you 😕. I absolutely love this foundation and has become my new favorite (although I do have combo oily skin). It makes my skin look healthy with a soft matte, natural type finish. However, I am not a fan of their teint idol matte finish foundation because it makes my skin look cakey and dry.
I haven't tried this one because it's not available in Canada. I just purchased the Lancôme Ultra Wear Matte after watching a review of 3 different Lancôme foundations that included the stick (can't find it), this glow one and the Ultra Wear Matte, and hearing that the Glow one had fragrance, but not the other 2 and that the Ultra Wear Matte was not as drying as one might think. I actually do like it and I have dry skin. It may not work in the winter months when my skin is even dryer, but it works right now. It's super light on the skin, no fragrance and it lasts all day. Happy with it so far! Thank you for this review! I can finally stop hoping for it to come to Canada!! 😂❤️

This is the best and most accurate review about this foundation. I have combination skin & I also had tightness on dry areas, which improved a little as time passed by.
