The premise of a swat team facing an undead apocalypse gives a very good gameplay loop of balancing looting and fighting tactically. The resource and team management looks solid. A very satisfying challenge.

The Last Stand was an amazing series. To be totally honest, I wtruly wish a lot fo flash game mechanics got used in more games.

The game is kinda like a refresh of Flesh Eaters, I believe it was originally suppose to be a sequel but there were some issues involved so the developer decided to start fresh.

Games like this are golden, I love hidden gems like these games. I hope things are much more randomize and rng makes the game more challenging and satisfying

This reminds me of an older game where you were flying around in a gunship in a scifi setting and you could drop guys out the side to engage aliens.

Hope they add more to it, like engineer can make turrets, doctors can make stimpack like health regen or movement speed, smoke bomb like antidote thst weakens zombies, strength + agility = dual gunner, combinations of stats can make unique class to the character to make the game more fun and playable nonstop
Some engineers can build turrets, some medics got the buff aura, dual pistols and so on all these things are already in the game. As for classes, each character got a unique loadout.
To evacuate really fast is a solid skill for the apocalipse. You don't want to be caught with you pants down...

I'd try to rephrase the opening story text a little bit. The phrasing is pretty clunky. It seems like a really cool story that is unfortunately held back by the word choice. And as far as game changes go, that has to be one of the easiest. Don't change the content of the words; that part was great! Just clean it up a little bit :)

I think the game you were talking about in the beginning is called Flesh Eaters and is actually developed by the same developer
Reminds me of SAS 4, badass game, this is way more polished and have far more content.

The game you're thinking of is probably Survivor Squad from 2013, although it might also be Breach and Clear: Deadline from 2015 which is similar real-time tactics zombie killin', but with 3d graphics.
Actually its flesh eaters. I worked in the past with the dev from survivor squad during flash game era, we made awaken rise of heroes
Silent hill had unlimited saves but save points are spread out. Resident evil has the limited saves with ink ribbons.

The game reminds of a game called "Strain Tactics" decent game but tends to get a little repetitive.
We hope to keep gameplay fresh and unique on each new game.

it's annoying to sync up different command tasks for multiple people, while reading up description popups and defending against hostiles.
edit : also, are there no melee weapons?
guns cause noise (attracts more enemy) and cost ammo. whereas hitting those slow zeds with a hammer in the noggin behind the safety of a barricade, seem like a better solution.
i mean, these aren't sprinter zombies, these are more like the slow af romero zombies.
1. There is active pause , you can give orders then press play to execute but this mechanic is only active if you upgrade your command transport apc.
2. There are also mele wpns, fists, katana and chainsaw but mele combat must be avoided at all cost, because you wont survive many encounters with mele combat aproach, this is not that type of game were you can win game with just mele
3. There are also sprinters and armored and lovecraftian monsters, in the video its only showen the most easy of them standard zombies
LOTS of gamers constantly use a save game and reload game crutch... which totally kills any risk from decisions in the game and basically means you're playing in God mode the entire time. I'm just glad to see more developers stopping the God mode feature of save and reload anytime you want.

This game reminds me of how good last stand dead zone would have been if it was a standalone game and not browser game with microtransactions.
Controlling multiple characters at the same time is a plus definitely. Kinda hard to see on other zombie titles.

Seems you're in the kind of situation where a reloading station would be most beneficial so you could recover some of your spent munitions in your downtime. I wonder if there'll be opportunities to find such things in your travels as the game progresses.

There was a free to play top down zombie shooter for PC that I played in like 2005 this reminds me of it. It was fun looked good a bit dark expect for fire and I can't remember the name. You could be a male or female and you choose your starting class like, cop, or soldier, or firefighter I can't remember the name it was kinda 3d too
In game resources to save? Have not seen that since Lunar 2 for Sega CD!
This actually reminds me a lot of STRAIN Tactics and that game was great! Would love to see more of this!
