Did the same loop a couple of months ago clockwise (up amphitheater and down Gregory canyon). Glad to see it’s all dry now

Nice! That seems to be the more standard way to do the loop.

Looks like a great trail! By the way, what is the brand\model of your trail runners?

Thank you! They are Vasque brand not sure what model everything is faded on (3 year old model low gtx) them I bought them at Wilderness exchange in Denver and they have held up through hell and many miles these past 2 years. Unfortunately I will be retiring them this season just got a new pair of Lone Peak trail runners but haven’t used them yet

@@Davespates Gotcha, thanks for the info! Would be interested in how the Lone Peak works out. I like the idea of a roomy toe box.

Im also in the market for a new pair of hiking boots, mine are completely blown out, any suggestions?

@@timothylabrecque8589 The pair I like and still use for almost 2 years are the Salomon Quest 4D boots. I replaced the insole for one from Rei for an extra $50 and they are so comfortable to hike in. However, their claim to being waterproof is crap. If they get wet or rained on they wont dry for days, unfortunately learned this on a backpacking trip.
