God knows how much I listen to a lot of classic guitar, and therefore many other talented guitarists.But if I look for what is closest to perfection, in interpretation, in the way of putting emotions, or technical mastery, I always come back to you. I think, imo, that you are the best classic guitarist of your generation, I'm even sure of it. I hope, for the greatest of our pleasures and yours, that you will still play for a very long time. This is such a beautiful rendition, with fine work of the tone and volume, complimenting the dynamics and movement of the entire piece without missing a single beat, this is undoubtedly one of the greatest renditions of this piece. I'm not even 30 seconds into the video, and I had the volume on my phone turned down, but I already know it's a great rendition :)
An ingenious performance. I think the maestro is the one who really meets Vivaldi's requirement, namely to feel in such a way as to make others feel the music. Maestro bravo!

Really perfect rendition, accurate and less euphoric than many others. Segovia intuiton cut out some rethoric bars in the coda, quoting Paganini in tremolo pattern. You save both ideas... Mario and Andrès would be delighted... Grazie Maestro!

Absolutely floored Dr. Henderson! So many interpretations of this piece, but your attention to the pacing, articulation, and harmony is outstanding. So many people treat certain passages like virtuosic flights of fancy while losing the orchestral nature of the piece, but you always maintain a cohesive musical narrative while never losing the aforementioned qualities.
He is the Mauricio Pollini of guitar! Exceptional control of technic, tone, dynamical contrast and crystal clear phrasing. He allways realise the beautiful quality of every notes. I think his abilities most fit to perform baroque masters Bach, Marcello Benedetto, and Scarlatti. Also the best interpreter of romantic composers eg. Regondi, Barrios.
