We’ve never heard what an album from a mature woman in her 40’s who is also a mother and wife sounds like in Hip-Hop. I wish people would realize that. This album was not only NEEDED, it’s going to set the standard for women to have longer careers and realize how they can evolve. You don’t have to get it, but anyone thinking this is trash needs to expand on their reading comprehension.
I think we all had very low expectations because it's been a very low bar that's been set by these labels and new artists so this album really gave us art to ponder upon and feel it in different moments and actually listen and groove to it and discover perspective and narration from a specific artistic individual. This gave us music lovers a chance to relive the excitement and adventure of diving into that intricate artistry we actually appreciate.

It’s so true - the first listen you may not get it… especially because of what ppl are use to with todays music. But bu the second & third listen I loved it more & more! ONLY critique is it may be like 4 songs too long. Otherwise there’s something for everyone on this album.
