What is the best way to add the hallmark? Also, can white gold, platinum, palladium or titanium be used with the welder? Thank you so much!

Most people don't add a hallmark to permanent jewelry. If you're selling ready to wear jewelry, you may want to have a hallmark. For chains there are tags you can purchase that are already stamped. Yes, you can use the welder for all of those materials. You'll just have to play around with the settings.
