I meant to publish this cover a long time ago. "Kuolema tekee taiteilijan" by Nighwish is one of my favorite songs, but also I really love the Finnish language and wished to cover something in Finnish for a long time! I hope you'll enjoy my performance on the electric harp & voice!

That was much better than what i expected, pretty good pronunciation :) Of course I can hear it's not sang by a native Finn but i understood it well. And singing in Finnish must be more difficult than just speaking Finnish...
Hey thanks a lot! Like, I hear a couple of things that bother me, if I did a proper recording of this (like, produced and everything) where I can take things line by line, I would have been able to be more accurate for sure. But for a one shot attempt like this I feel pretty happy about it.
I feel speaking is pretty difficult actually, at least with singing I don't wonder how to conjugate words 😂

Well done - lovely performance! I'm aiming for Talkatavi myself: I've been learning a little Finnish on Duolingo for a few weeks just to help improve my pronunciation, unfortunately it's not one of the languages which gets you to speak and then tells you if you got it right! I'm improving but slowly. Not giving up, though - I may have to upload a version, get feedback, then do it again...
Is that a chant from Kalevala? There's great songs done with kantele (which you will master one day). Listening those helps prononcaution. Kari
