What Pakistanis get wrong is that a change in regime in India would affect its position on Pakistan.
Breaking up of Pakistan in 1971 by Indira Gandhi (Congress), strikes on terrorists in Pakistan by Modi (BJP) are some of the precedents set by the governments of India.
So now the majority of Indians don't expect a softer stance on Pakistan and parties would be well aware of that.
And if you talk about the Kashmir region, even if an Ind-Pak discussion is held (very rare chance), there are very slim chances that India would settle with declaring LoC as the international border as Indians consider PoK as an integral part of India.
So my advice to you people would be to keep very very low expectations from India that it would take a softer stance on Pakistan (militarily, economically and diplomatically) in future and would agree with "your" solution of so called Kashmir issue.
It may reciprocate some of your goodwill gestures like you resuming trade after 2019 etc but not more than that.

As a sanatani and as an Indian I know shri Narendra modi is by far one of the best PM of India since our independence. Because of following reason:-
1- Policy for the betterment of the people and that policies are implemented on ground.
2- Modi removed corruption from the top level.
3- Modi is not anti muslims first of all. Modi has done far better things for muslims than any other political party. Modi gave importance to the muslims women and girls. By banning instant talaq it gives a security to the muslims women. Muslims in india are majority in minority still they get all the benefits of gov schemes.
4- Digital Infrastructure and Capital Infrastructure.
5- The national highways and expressways since last 9 years has totally changes the transportation and logistics.
6- Indian railways being indigenous building its own modern trains like vande bharat. Indian railways has put a target of 2035 to entirely modernised the Indian railway.
7- startup ecosystem, ease of doing business etc..
Modi has done a lot for India since 2014 but still there are many things that needs to be done well like education, public health infra etc..
